‘There’s a vivacious woman inside my body that’s being set free,’ proclaimed Sam Smith in the behind the scenes peek at the creation of his latest music video, ‘How Do You Sleep.’

‘Sleep’ – a mid-tempo jam – certainly awakened conversation around the performer getting into the groove and showing off his best two-step in its accompanying music video (dance moves his previous efforts haven’t showcased to this extent).  With an impressive #29 debut on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, Smith is looking to keep the conversation going with hopes of scoring his next top 20 hit.

Together, the trio anchor Facebook’s wildly popular series Red Table Talk – which has risen to potent prominence by way of its fearless format of diving into oft-uncomfortable yet freeing conversations with notable women.

A month after the BET Awards’ nominations were oficiallly announced (click here to see the nominees), ‘B.E.D.’ singer Jacquees was M-A-D when he found out his name was absent from the list of potential honorees.

In a now-deleted video, the self-proclaimed ‘King of R&B’ expressed royal disappointment in the network for failing to acknowledge the success of his mixtapes and 2018-released debut studio album, ‘4275.’  

“Hold on…How in the f**k am I not nominated for a BET Award?” he asked.  “Bruh, how the f**k is that possible?”

VH1 celebrated Mother’s Day early last night with their third annual ‘Dear Mama’ special.

The show, which saw a number of notable names honor their moms, also brought with it special performances.

Ashanti honored matriarchs with a medley of her hits, H.E.R electrified with ‘A Song For You,’ SWV soared and were followed by Shai sung their signature single ‘If I Ever Fall In Love.’ Elsewhere Monica serenaded with ‘Angel’ and ‘Angel Of Mine.’ R&B crooner Luke James showed up and showed out with ‘Reasons’ and ‘Shining Star.’
