Barack Obama: Whether It’s Charlie Kirk, Kimmel, or MAGA, "Free Speech Has to Be Protected"

Barack Obama continues to sound off in the wake of Jimmy Kimmel being pulled from the airwaves for remarks made about Charlie Kirk‘s killer.

As reported, the late-night host was slammed by an FCC exec for claiming the right activist’s shooter was of MAGA affiliation during a monologue. Distributor Nexstar echoed the condemnation, and ultimately, ABC benched the show “indefinitely” amidst the drama.

While U.S. resident Donald Trump celebrated the move, others have slammed it – branding the move as a politically-charged attack on “free speech.”

Having initially blasted the Kimmel axing, the former President has followed up with an additional weigh-in.

The clock is ticking toward the October 23 release of ‘CAOS‘ – Miguel‘s first studio album since dropping 2017’s ‘War & Leisure.’

Ahead of its arrival, the GRAMMY-winning crooner is whetting appetites by giving music lovers samples from its yet-revealed tracklist.

Barely two weeks after introducing the single New Martyrs (Ride 4 U),’ he’s already riding on to unveil its follow-up: ‘El Pleito’ (which translates to ‘The Lawsuit‘ in English).

“Eh, I’m in my feelings I might go dark /When way too much is not enough / I lost myself when I needed me most,” he sings on the half-Spanish track.

The two-week Billboard 200 stay of Miley Cyrus‘ May-released studio album ‘Something Beautiful‘ may have marked a personal milestone for the Pop diva all the wrong reasons, but she’s not giving up on the critically acclaimed project yet.

Expanding the LP’s 13-song tracklist to 15 songs, Miley’s tapped some legendary company to accompany her on the ‘Beautiful’ repackage including David Byrne of Talking Heads as well as Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac.

The latter play assistants on her September 19-released single ‘Secrets.’

“Secrets, I wanna keep your secrets / Like sunlight in the shadows / Like footsteps in the grass / I won’t ever break my promise,” she wails on the tune’s opening verse.

Cardi B quietly made history with the announcement of the tracklist for her sophomore album ‘Am I the Drama‘ when she revealed none other than Pop Queen Janet Jackson was among its star-studded list of features.

Despite boasting a tally of high-profile superstars like Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, and more, Jackson’s presence came as a historic standout because it made Cardi the first woman to ever land a feature from the music royal over her 40-plus-year career.

Unique but true, their union borrows elements from Janet’s own 1987 smash ‘The Pleasure Principle‘ found on her breakthrough ‘Control‘ album from 1986.

“Ayy, it’s the principle, the principle, ayy / Can’t be out here playin’ with a b-tch like me (Why?) / These n–gas out here prayin’ for a b-tch like me,” Cardi raps over Dizzy Banko production.
