Versatility has long defined what Alexandra Burke brings to the table and she showcases this in earnest on brand new single ‘Naturally.’

Tapping into her Caribbean roots, the flavoursome track teams the singer with Jamaican Dancehall King Beenie Man.

Speaking on the release, Burke said:

“I’m so excited for you all to hear this vibe. It’s the first of a collection of carnival-inspired tracks (coming later this year).

A full album will follow soon… but my new single features THE ONE & ONLY Beenie Man.

It’s been a crazy, weird and mad kind of a year so I wanted to create something we could all vibe too!”

Amber Riley is honoring her former ‘Glee’ cast-mate Naya Rivera.

The singer stopped by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Thursday night, where she performed a touching tribute to the late actress with her new song ‘A Moment.’

Singing under the name Riley, the performance featured pictures of the 33-year-old that were projected behind her as she sang:

“Now I need a moment alone with my soul /  I can’t stop these thoughts /  I need these /  I’m ready to fight /  I’m ready to see what’s on the other side / I’m ready to cry and just let it be.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live guest host Lil Rel Howery introduced the performance with a tribute of her own, saying:

“Not too long ago, we both lost a really good friend in a tragic accident and we both will miss her forever.”

Rivera tragically passed away in July.

By her lonesome, Dua Lipa carried ‘Physical,’ a single found aboard her latest album, ‘Future Nostalgia,’ all the way to #60 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Granted not exactly the Hot 100 top 20 wins its fellow housed cuts ‘Don’t Start Now’ and ‘Break My Heart’ boasted, ‘Physical’ fared much better in Lipa’s native U.K. where it not only peaked at #3 but also helped her make history for becoming the first British female artist in over 65 years to chart three songs inside the top 10 concurrently.

To help her replicate that success Stateside, the 25-year-old called on fellow GRAMMY winner Gwen Stefani to revamp the Jason Evigan-produced bop.

Despite opening to rave reviews from industry critics, ‘Good to Know’JoJo‘s May 2020-released fourth studio album (and inaugural offering on her own imprint) – did not see that acclaim mirrored commercially as the set is her first to premiere outside of the top 10 on the Billboard 200 (as we reported here).

Undeterred, the GRAMMY winner breathed new life into the LP by unveiling an entire acoustic version of it in July.

Now, just a month later, she’s extending it another lifeline by repackaging its content for a deluxe edition.

Expanding the 11-song project to a 15-song effort, the deluxe edition also calls on help from her celebrity friends as Demi Lovato, Tinashe, and Tory Lanez (although later removed due to his Megan Thee Stallion controversy as we reported here) are among the set’s high profile features.

Is the reissue just what’s needed to send ‘Good’ to the Billboard heights known by its predecessor?  Listen inside and tell us:

Three years have separated fans of Katy Perry from her last studio album, ‘Witness.’

A critically panned affair, the 2017-born effort was not only plagued with thumbs down from critics for seeing the GRAMMY nominee try her hand at ‘purposeful Pop’ but also from fans who were disappointed the era’s accompanying aesthetic veered too far left from the visuals that escorted its predecessors ‘Teenage Dream’ and ‘Prism.’

Going on to be her only major label LP to lack an RIAA certification, the stakes were high for its follow-up (later christened ‘Smile’).  Despite hoisting a number of its housed cuts for public consumption (see:  its title track, ‘Never Really Over,’ ‘Daisies,’ ‘Harleys in Hawaii’ and deluxe edition cuts ‘Small Talk’ and ‘Never Worn White’), ‘Smile’ – released August 28 – comes as her first major label project to go to chart battle without a Hot 100 top 10 single preceding it.

Will that play against it?  Listen inside and give us your two cents:

In April, Pop superstar Dua Lipa debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 with the highest first week sales of her career thanks to her sophomore album, ‘Future Nostalgia’ (as we reported here).

Led to chart battle by hits ‘Physical,’ ‘Break My Heart,’ and ‘Don’t Start Now’ (her highest charting single ever), the project remains a mainstay in the tally’s top 40 over four months after its release.

In a bid to boost it to even higher heights than its previous peak, Lipa announced a deluxe edition – ‘Club Future Nostalgia’ – and recruited a royal deck of players to assist including Queen of Pop Madonna, Rap Queen Missy Elliott, Queen of Ska-Pop Gwen Stefani, and more.

Now, after abundant teasing, fans can listen to the remixed set in full.  It awaits inside:

True to her word, four months ago Toni Braxton announced music lovers would see her name spelled on the Billboard charts courtesy of a new album, her ninth solo studio effort ‘Spell My Name.’

Landing on digital shelves Friday (August 28), the LP – kicked off by R&B chart-topping hit, ‘Do It,’ and the funky, mid-tempo groove ‘Dance’ – follows the GRAMMY winner’s ill-fated ‘Sex & Cigarettes’ (which quickly burned out on charts in early 2018).

Calling on H.E.R., Missy Elliott, and more familiar names to act as guests on the album (while Antonio Dixon and longtime collaborator Babyface serve among contributing producers and songwriters), the opus serves as Braxton’s debut aboard new label home, Island Records.
