‘Underdog’ is proving itself a winner for Alicia Keys.

The latest single from her delayed seventh album, ‘ALICIA,’ the Johnny McDaid-produced tune was released in January and only made a brief appearance in the Hot 100 at that time before slipping out of the tally for weeks.

However, after a lifeline came in the form of an Amazon-sponsored push (click here to read more), ‘Underdog’ became an anthem for essential workers in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.  Re-engagement from the public, alongside an aggressive promo campaign that’s seen her perform the song on a number of televised platforms in recent weeks, has spelled well for its renewed performance on the Hot 100.

Justin Bieber may be undergoing some serious changes with his touring schedule due to the global health crisis (as we reported here), but – much to fan delight – his promotion of the jaunt nor the chart-topping project it was named after have been impacted.

Keeping his promise of dropping a new visual each week in support of one of the LP’s cuts, the Grammy winner recently unveiled looks at clips for the songs ‘At Least for Now’ and its album’s title track, ‘Changes.’

While the former tune’s video showcases the fancy footwork of dancer/choreographer Sean Lew, the latter’s sees JB become one with nature like never before.

As Rihanna fans, affectionately called #TheNavy, impatiently wait for new music from the diva, they’re eating up anything she’s attached to in the process.  Case in point? Her feature on PartyNextDoor‘s ‘Believe It.’

The song, which serves as the latest single from his third studio album, ‘PARTYMOBILE’ (released March 27), is the first original material released by Rih since her guest spot on N.E.R.D‘s moderate 2017 hit, ‘Lemon.’

Making an impressive #23 debut on this week’s Hot 100, ‘Believe’s arrival’ marks the end of her longest break ever from the chart as she’s had a top 40 hit in every year since her 2005 debut up to 2017.  Of course, leave it to the Grammy winner-turned-fashion-icon to return in major fashion.

Tracy Morgan may be no stranger to dropping jaws with his tongue-in-cheek humor, but his unexpected coronavirus jokes on Tuesday’s ‘Today Show’ (April 7) didn’t exactly garner the chuckle he may have been looking for.

Hot on the promo trail in support of the season 3 premiere of his wildly popular TBS comedy ‘The Last O.G.,’ the comedian was quizzed on how his family is staying safe during the global health crisis.  He responded by informing resident anchor Hoda Kotb that he and his wife are using the quarantine time to spice up their sex life.

“We’re role playing,” he said. “She’s playing a young maiden whose grandfather was infected with coronavirus & I’m scientist who discovered the cure.”

Needless to say, morning TV viewers found the commentary inappropriate.  See some of their responses inside:
