Nene Leakes is once again sounding off about Eva Marcille.

The ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ original has made no secret of her personal lack of enthusiasm for her co-star, leaving many somewhat surprised given that it was she who “introduced” the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ winner to the show.

In recent weeks, she asserted that Marcille had been “spending up Bravo’s money having babies” rather than adding value to the reality hit – which is now in its 12th season.

And she’s continuing to stand by her stance.

Having stood the test of time as two of Pop music’s most prized offerings from the last 40 years, it comes as no surprise Whitney Houston‘s iconic remake of Dolly Parton‘s Country classic, ‘I Will Always Love You’ (1992), and Queen of Rock N’ Roll Tina Turner‘s royal comeback album, ‘Private Dancer’ (1984), were among the new slew of inductees into the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry.

After months of teasing, Country superstar Kane Brown unveiled the first full listen to his highly anticipated song, ‘Last Time I Say Sorry,’ on Friday (March 27).

A duet with EGOT winner John Legend, the piano-driven ballad is a dramatic presentation of a lover pleading with his significant other to get back in her good graces.

“I won’t say I’m sorry over and over / Can’t just say I’m sorry, I’ve gotta show you / I won’t do it again, I’ll prove my love is true / I hope the last time I said sorry /Is the last time I’ll say sorry to you,” sings Legend on the Andrew Goldstein-produced track.

And, while Brown fans may be disappointed the single lacks the Country essence of his preceding offerings, it rings as a true indication of his versatility.

In the eyes of many, Dua Lipa is the Pop girl to beat.

After cranking out her biggest hit to date, ‘Don’t Start Now,’ for her sophomore era christened ‘Future Nostalgia,’ the Brit-born beauty has been showered with critical acclaim for the effort’s Disco-cloaked offerings (i.e. ‘Physical,’ ‘Break My Heart,’ etc.) – all made available a week ahead of schedule due to an unexpected leak (as we reported here).

As the coronavirus pandemic made traditional promo for the LP an impossibility, Lipa’s improvised by upping her presence on social media via participation in a number of virtual concerts and interviews to build awareness around the project.  At first glance, the approach seemed to be working as ‘Future’ dominated Spotify just minutes after it was made available on the streaming platform (click here to read more on that).

Second glance, however, suggests the schedule shake-up may have done more damage for Dua than previously expected.  See what we mean inside:

Megan Thee Stallion could be well on her way to the biggest hit of her career courtesy of her latest single, ‘Savage.’

Found aboard the femcee’s latest top 10 EP, ‘Suga,’ the J. White Did It-produced cut has enjoyed a wave of success on digital sales and streaming platforms over the last few weeks thanks to a viral Tik Tok craze that challenges the app’s users (including celebrities) to upload videos of themselves doing choreography to it (like we reported here).

The enduring popularity of ‘Savage’ on social media outlets is finally reflecting in its Hot 100 run as evidenced by the most refreshed edition of the tally.  Seeing ‘Savage’ strut to #20 as the result of a whopping 78-spot leap, the bop’s impressive jump brings with it two milestones for Meg.  Not only is it the second top 20 single of her career (following 2019’s Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign-assisted ‘Hot Girl Summer’), but it’s also her first time in that region of the chart unaccompanied.  All this ahead of the release of its official music video!

As we extend congratulations to the burgeoning diva, look below to see who joins her in the top 25 on this week’s episode of ‘TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100.’
