A long-awaited return to R&B, the guitar-driven effort sees the beauty detail exactly what she’s looking for in the opposite sex.

Not even two years after Rich The Kid petitioned Nicki Minaj fans, affectionately called ‘The Barbs,’ to assist with getting the Rap queen to feature on one of his songs, his wish was granted via the new song, ‘Not Sorry.’

Found aboard ‘Boss Man’ (his third studio album in as many years), the tune serves as the LP’s second single.  Produced by Smash David, Kid recently took to press to express his excitement over nabbing the Nicki feature:

“I just had this song that was perfect to get her on and then she just killed it, this monster verse,” he said. “She’s like one of the first to start the wave for all the other female rappers.”

Since dropping her debut album, ‘The Plan,’ in 2018, R&B songstress DaniLeigh has been one of the genre’s most talked about newcomers.

Despite following the critically acclaimed effort with 2019’s ‘My Present’ EP, her growing legion of fans are still hungry for new music – an appetite she’s looking to serve with new single, ‘Levi High.’

Calling on help from chart-topping rapper DaBaby (whom she previously worked with by choreographing his ‘BOP on Broadway’ music video), ‘Levi’ sees the songstress brag about her assets in ways like never before.

“Levi high jeans, sittin’ right, keep that a*s up / It’s a ’Gram flex, basic hoes gettin’ gassed up / N*ggas in my face, boy bye, n*gga back up / I’m a city girl, it’s only that I act up,” she coos on the chorus.

After earning a moderate hit via his Los del Rio-sampled ‘Ayy Macarena’ (2019), Tyga‘s first single of 2020 – the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted cut, ‘Freak,’ also relies on a familiar tune of yesteryear.

Rapping over a beat that samples Black Eyed Peas’ 2005 hit, ‘My Humps,’ the sexually explicit ‘Freak’ sees Tyga and Meg trade verses about their respective bedroom prowesses.

“Big ghetto booty, bougie, choosy, ain’t giving up the p*ssy for a dinner and a movie,” raps the Houston Hottie.

The release of her latest EP, ‘Suga,’ may have signaled proof Megan Thee Stallion had won a legal battle against her label, but the war is far from over.
