Just days after using a lyric video to announce ‘The Man’ as the new single from her 2019 album, ‘Lover’ (as we reported here), Taylor Swift‘s lifted the lid on a live music video for the tune.

A fierce feminist anthem, the song’s managed to climb to the #23 position on the Hot 100 on the strength of streams and digital downloads alone.  Now shipped to radio and with two Youtube videos to aid, ‘Man’ could not only become her newest chart-topper but could also see her break a longstanding tie with Queen of Pop Madonna for most top 20 hits among females (click here to read more about that).

“a lot to say a lot to feel. sh*t happens life really happens u jus gotta stay pure and move with love and thank god you are one of the ones that do.”

A continuation of her tradition of releasing new music to commemorate Valentine’s Day, the annual holiday serves dual purpose for the diva as the time frame also rings as the anniversary of the premiere of her debut single, 1998’s ‘It’s All About Me.’
