January 31 marked a busy day for music thanks to big album releases from the likes of Lil Wayne, Meghan Trainor, Kesha, and K. Michelle.

Although early reads of sales and streams saw Wayne and Kesha lead the way among the week’s debuts to be shoo-ins for the refreshed Billboard 200’s top 10 (as we reported here), Trainor and Michelle’s LPs – both unaccompanied by the buzz afforded their preceding projects – were jetting toward their respective lowest album chart premieres to date.

Billie Eilish has unlocked ‘No Time To Die’ – the title theme for James Bond 25.

Arriving on the heels of a colossal year (which included a sweep of all four top categories at the GRAMMYs), the track was penned by the 18-year-old and her brother Finneas – the latter of whom also produced the song.

With ample hype (including the fact Eilish is the youngest ever act to top-bill a Bond theme), does ‘No Time To Die’ deliver? Listen below and let us know…

Janet Jackson recently appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where she opened up about her ‘Black Diamond’ tour and album. Both of which are due to arrive in the coming months.

Unknown to most, the Pop queen also taped a performance segment with The Roots.

Joined by Fallon, Jackson and her ensemble performed her 1995 classic ‘Runaway’ using classroom instruments.

In late 2019, multi-talented media maven Issa Rae set off a storm of criticism after news surfaced she was looking to reboot the 1996 F. Gary Gray film, ‘Set It Off.’

As the announcement earned thumbs down from many of the movie’s enthusiasts, one of its flick’s stars – Vivica A. Fox – joined the chorus slamming the reports when she said:

“It’s a classic, leave it alone. There’s absolutely no reason to try to redo it.”

Now, hot on the promo trail for her forthcoming film, ‘The Photograph’ (click here to see the trailer), Rae’s clearing up rumors of her intent to recreate the cult classic.

Disney‘s live-action remake of’ ‘Aladdin’ flew above all expectations last May and ended its theatrical run with a whopping $1 Billion at the global box office.

Now, it looks like the powerhouse studio are set to grant fans of the film their wish. For, a new report has revealed that the wheels are a-turning for a sequel.
