The-Dream performed on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last evening. The studio vocalist performed his news single, ‘Make Up Bag’, without the much-needed help of the track’s featured guest, T.I. The-Dream’s ‘Love King’ LP hits stores on June 29th. Peep the performance below:

International crossover star, Taio Cruz, performed his new single ‘Dynamite’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The singer songwriter performed the track as part of his set to the promote his ‘Rokstarr’ LP – which was released in the States this week.
While I’m gonna need Mr Cruz to update the wardrobe pronto (fellow Brits will know what I mean), as well as his live performing skills, it’s hard to deny the song’s smash hit potential. Put simply, it’s the business.
In any case, check out Taio’s performance after the jump…
Eclectic singer Kelis stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show last night to perform new single ‘Acapella’. With label head will..i.am spinning on the decks behind her, Kelis delivered a rousing performance of the #1 Billboard Dance smash (while a slightly unenthusiastic audience looked on ). Check out how she fared below…
Grammy Award-nominated singer Melanie Fiona made guested on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last evening. The R&B vocalist performed her hit song ‘It Kills Me’ from her debut album ‘The Bridge’. To date, the track has peaked at #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts.
Fiona did her thing. She sang beautifully and seemed to be really ‘feeling’ the lyrics. Although I am not a fan of the song and consider it to be quite boring, it is great to see a singer with such raw talent on the stage again who does not have to step out on the stage half naked or rely on intricate hairstyles to get attention. Good stuff.
R&B diva Mary J. Blige appeared a guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last evening. The singer performed ‘I Am’ from for upcoming ‘Stronger With Each Tear’ LP which hits stores on December 21st. To date the track has peaked at #67 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #18 on the Hip-Hop/R&B chart. Check out her interview with Jimmy Kimmel below:
Rising diva Leona Lewis made a guest appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘ last evening. The singer took the stage to perform the songs ‘Happy‘ and ‘Outta My Head‘ from her new album, ‘Echo‘. As predicted, Lewis’ album has proven to be a commercial failure, debuting at #13 on the Billboard 200 with barely 67, 000 units shipped.
As usual, her vocals were on point but her stage presence was nonexistent. One would assume that given the nature of her album sales, she would have been motivated to give the crowd a bit more fire. Shy or not, she has to come a lot harder than that if she wants to leave an impression on the mass media audience.
Sidebar: How many times is she going to wear the same outfit?! That’s the exact same dress she wore to the AMA’s only this time she wore leggings. No no no, that won’t work!
Despite the dismal sales forecast for Amerie’s latest effort ‘In Love & War’, the singer continues to press on with her promotional attempts, most recent a trip to the Jimmy Kimmel Live show to perform new single ‘Heard Em All’.
Ms. Rogers delivered a pretty decent performance, yet you’d know never know judging by how dead the crowd were (can they be blamed, though? Probably their first time hearing the song!). I worry a little for what the future holds for this immense talent; when will she finally get her deserved kudos?
