Jessie J is speaking up and out after a surprising remark was aimed at her by Nicki Minaj. 

As reported, the femcee made a public objection to a comment J made about the creation of their 2014 smash ‘Bang Bang’ during an interview.

Minaj’s move shocked many, given that the British belter was in actuality praising her and expressing her joy at working with the rap royal on the song – which also featured Ariana Grande.

However, it’s clear Onika felt it imperative to set the record straight as relates to how she landed on the track.

Now, J is weighing in.

Rita Ora is hot on the promotional trail for her latest single ‘You For Me.’

Case in point, the British songstress has just shared the acoustic version of the song, which removes the EDM production by Sigala and replaces it with a gentle piano throughout the song.

The latest incarnation of the tune comes mere weeks after she shared the official video for it (stream it here).

‘You For Me’ was announced in June and serves as the first new music from Ora since her ‘BANG’ EP earlier this year.

Over a month after its #2 debut, Doja Cat’s junior studio album – ‘Planet Her’ – remains a mainstay in the Billboard 200’s top 5 (found at #3 on the refreshed edition of the tally).

In lieu of working the TV circuit for its promotion, Cat’s pounced onto the net to render a series of dynamic live performances in partnership with VEVO Live. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has made no secret of her support of the LGBTQ+ community over the years, but now she’s taking her allyship even further by using her platform to address the topic of homophobia in Hip Hop.

As her ‘Crybaby’ co-star DaBaby continues to suffer seismic backlash for a recent homophobic rant that slammed people living with HIV and ‘men who suck d*ck in parking lots’ (as we reported here), Stallion’s stepped in to discuss the longstanding subject of gay discrimination in Rap.

‘Good As Hell’ hitmaker Lizzo is looking like she’ll make good on her promise to drop her new single, ‘Rumors,’ next week,

Ahead of its August 13 arrival, the GRAMMY winner took to Instagram Friday night (August 6) to serve a snippet of the new tune.  What started off as a wholesome musical tease quickly turned into a striptease, however.

Camila Cabello‘s latest single, ‘Don’t Go Yet’ is off to a racing start on the Hot 100 thanks to a handsome mix of first-week streams, digital downloads, and radio airplay (as we reported here).

To keep the momentum going on the tune (which serves as the first single from her third studio album ‘Familia’), Camila is inviting her fans – affectionately called #Camilizers – into the behind the scenes action of its Philippa Price and Pilar Zeta-directed music video.

Inspired by Cuban-Mexican family parties from the singer’s childhood, Cabello added even more authenticity to the visual by sprinkling in cameos from her real-life father, cousin, and close friends.

After watching their Shakira-shared jam ‘Girl Like Me’ rocket to GOLD status at the RIAA, Black Eyed Peas look to cook up a similar feat with their newest number, ‘Hit It.’

Like ‘Girl’ before it, ‘Hit’ sonically contains elements of Hip Hop, EDM, Latin, and Reggaeton while lyrically seeing the BEP frontman, will.i.am, trade verses with a female lead. Unlike ‘Girl,’ ‘Hit’ takes a turn down a raunchier musical avenue – tapping rapstress Saweetie and songstress Lele Pons to assist.

“Bang on the booty like I’m on a drum line / Insane beauty, really love the design / Girl, you really blew my mind, blew my mind / That’s the way I go when I hit it one time,” Will boasts on the hot new track.

Iggy Azalea may be slated to drop her third studio album, ‘End of An Era,’ in just 7 days, but the GRAMMY-nominated rapstress is still looking to give her fans (affectionately called #Azaleans) even more reasons to be buzzed for its release.

After thrilling with the project’s first slew of singles – ‘Sip It,’ ‘I Am the Strip Club,’ and ‘Brazil’ – Azalea took to social media to unveil the ‘Godfather’-inspired artwork for the LP, including its sizzling cover (seen above).

As if that’s not enough to drum up excitement, she’s followed with the release of the Sophia Scott-assisted ‘Sex on the Beach.’

“You’re like honey on a breeze / We mix so good together / Just like sex on the beach,” Scott coos on the cut’s guitar driven chorus.

Beyonce continues to lasso in the masses with her Adidas x Ivy Park line.

The latest drop is named Rodeo and Queen Bey has gone all-out with its launch commercial.

A fiery affair, the star takes center-stage in the scorching visual, which showcases various items from the incoming range – which launches at retail on August 19.

Bey appears alongside the likes  Snoh Aalegra and Tobe Nwigwe in the commercial spot.

Taylor Swift is strutting forward full steam towards the re-release of her ‘Red’ album.

Due November 19, the set – aptly christened ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ – is the latest of the singer’s LPs to receive the re-recording treatment.

As reported, Swift has set sail on the journey of re-recording her catalog after her master recordings were sold without her involvement.

The first fruit of the venture was ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version),’ which – in topping the Billboard 200 this April – reminded of the seismic support the singer commands.

Now, fresh from teasing what the new version of ‘Red’ will include, the star has lifted the lid on the official tracklist – revealing the unreleased “vault tracks” and collaborators.

Kanye West has previewed yet another A-list collaboration.

This time around, he has enlisted Hip-Hop legend Dr. Dre for a track called ‘Glory.’

The song appears in a second promo spot for Beats by Dre starring track sensation Sha’Carri Richardson.

Across the track, Ye raps:

“This is the glory / This is the victory.”

This is not the first time that West has teased a song via Beats commercial. He previously teased his track ‘No Child Left Behind’ last month during the NBA Finals.
