Lee Daniels takes the directorial helm of Netflix’s compelling “faith-based thriller,” ‘The Deliverance.’

Set in Indiana, the rivetting film tells the story of Ebony (Andra Day) who moves into a new home with her mother Alberta (Glenn Close) as well as her three children Nate (Caleb McLaughlin), Shante (Demi Singleton) and Andre (Anthony B. Jenkins).

Already faced with life’s challenges, Ebony is met with an entirely new set of problems when a series of demonic occurrences take the family on a ride… to hell.

That Grape Juice’s Chet Kincaid caught up with Caleb McLaughlin, who opened up about his experience on set, how his own faith and outlook impacted his approach to his character, and receiving advice from co-stars Day, Close, and Mo’Nique.

August Alsina is taking the response to his coming out in his stride.

As widely reported, the 31-year-old opened up about falling in love with a man last year on the ‘Surreal Life’ and recently expanded on the matter during an interview with Nick Cannon on Counsel Culture. He shared that “love is more complex than gay, straight, (or) bisexual.”

The latter of which lit up the internet following a set of homophobic responses from ‘Love & Hip-Hop’  brawler Akbar V.

John Legend is back with a new album. This time around he has teamed up with singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens for the new album called ‘My Favorite Dream.’

The album comprises nine original songs by Legend in addition to three Fisher-Price covers and three bonus tracks.

Legend even went on to praise his collaborator’s “sense of whimsy, adventure and dreaminess.”

“I just felt his musical approach would be perfect for building arrangements and soundscapes to complement the songs. When I was thinking about who could bring these songs to life with me, he was the first and only choice. I’m so glad he said ‘yes’,” he continued.
