Ahead of what’s expected to be its live performance debut ahead of Saturday’s ‘SNL‘ (March 9), Ariana Grande‘s dropped the official music video for her latest single ‘We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love).’

Coming just hours after the tune’s premiere as part of the Friday (March 8) unveiling of her seventh studio album, ‘Eternal Sunshine,’ the ‘Friends’ visual sees Grande showing off her acting chops while crooning touching lyrics about self-acceptance and yearning for a love that may never be.

“We can’t be friends / But I’d like to just pre-tend / You cling to your papers and pens / Wait until you like me again / Wait for your love / My love, I’ll wait for your love,” she sings on the Max Martin-produced chorus.

Tems performs at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards

Tems brought the house down at the 2024 Billboard Women In Music Awards. 

The Nigerian singer-songwriter took the stage at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California to perform the song. Adorned in a white bedazzled hooded dress and with props like smoke she sizzled with her performance of the song.

‘Not An Angel’ was the latest song to be released by the singer and was released at the tail end of the year last year. She also shared the song ‘Me & U’ last year as well.

Tems is expected to release her debut album later this year. However, in the meantime, check out her performance at the Billboard Women In Music Awards.

Housed at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, the night was hosted by Method Man and celebrated melanated magnificence across music, entertainment, and beyond.

Barely a day after DDG outraged his fans for sharing photos of him holding his 3-month-old baby Halo with one hand, the rapper offers a subtle clap back in the form of the music video for his latest single ‘Shoot Up Your Block.’

Arriving just two weeks after he lifted the lid on the visual for the banger ‘‘Going to the Top,’ ‘Block’ sees the 26-year-old on some serious daddy duty while spitting lyrics about protecting his family by any means necessary.

“I’m not affiliated with gangs but for him I spin. Shoot up your block,” he raps. “When it comes to my son and my family, you’ll get popped.”

Alongside the Friday (March 8) release of Ariana Grande‘s new single ‘We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),’ the nearly 4-year wait for a new album from the Pop diva came to a close thanks to the unveiling of the tune’s parent album Eternal Sunshine.’

Having already given fans (affectionately called #Arianators) a sample of the LP’s offerings courtesy of the chart-topping smash ‘Yes, And?,’ Grande’s now followed with what promises to be just as big of a smash.
