Stefflon Don is set to unlock new mixtape ‘Secure’ this Friday and she’s bringing a host of major names along with her – Future being one of the most notable.

The rapper joins the British-Jamaican star on the song ‘What You Want,’ which received its worldwide debut tonight on Apple Music‘s Beats 1 radio with Zane Lowe.

During her fun-filled chat, she opened up about what it was like working with him, social media drama with Foxy Brown, her thoughts on Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Queen,’ and more.

Currently prepping the release of movie blockbuster ‘A Star Is Born,’ Mother Monster is also in rehearsals for her hotly anticipated Las Vegas residency.

Set for a December debut, the special engagement will see the star perform two separate shows; the main offering will be ‘Enigma’ – a journey through her odyssey of Pop smashes. She’ll be pairing this with an intimate standalone Jazz production. Fans can snap up tickets for the individual shows or snag passes for both.

As for music, the singer has made no secret of the fact she’s working on the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Joanne.’

Did the #LawrenceHive make their presence (or absence in this case) felt after promising to boycott beloved Issa Rae HBO series, ‘Insecure’?

As the  backlash from news of the exit of “Lawrence” (Jay Ellis), Rae’s love interest in the show, grew so large on Twitter the actress even addressed it in a number of interviews (click here to read), longtime fans of the series were keen to see if the response would impact viewership.  And, while the furor over his departure cannot be pinpointed as the sole blame, ‘Insecure’s season 3 – which premiered on August 12th – did open to figures lower than anticipated.

Considering the critical acclaim that continues to surround the series, expectations were certainly high given the cliffhanger that brought season 2 to a close. Alas, its Sunday premiere drew in…

Is it fate or just coincidence that the week Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Queen’ album hits digital shelves music lovers find their interest reawakened in the work of her archnemesis, Lil Kim (namely her game-changing debut album, ‘Hardcore’)?

Sales and streams of her latest effort – ‘Nasty One’ – may not exactly be on the up side as of time reported, but her 1996 inaugural set (featuring the hits ‘No Time,’ ‘Not Tonight,’ and ‘Crush On You’) is currently crushing competition 22 years its junior.

The sudden spike in sales even caught Kim’s attention and she took to Twitter to offer her thanks to her beloved fan base, affectionately called #KillerBees.  Details inside:

Refreshed reports indicate Nicki Minaj‘s previously forecasted reign atop next week’s Billboard 200 with her fourth official studio, ‘Queen,’ is on track to be blocked from the tally’s perch by this week’s champion Travis Scott.

Scott, who took the #1 position on the chart from Minaj’s Young Money brother Drake, shocked fans and industry analysts alike when his latest project – ‘Astroworld’ – bowed at #1 with 537,000 units shifted (the second largest debut this year to date).  Coming as his second chart-topper overall, the set was originally predicted to shift at least a third of those sales in week #2.  While updated information suggests his second week sales will fall a bit shy of that projection, they’re still believed to be just enough to keep ‘Queen’ at bay.
