If you thought the historic domination of Mariah Carey‘s perennial hit ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You‘ was limited to the Hot 100 this week, you thought wrong.

The same day Billboard took to press to reveal the tune had become the longest-reigning #1 hit in the 67-year history of its all-genre chart, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the song’s parent album – 1994’s ‘Merry Christmas‘ – helped pencil its performer in the organization’s record books thanks to a shiny new Diamond certification.

Tamar Braxton‘s recent attempt to share some holiday cheer was met with holiday jeers!

The four-time GRAMMY nominee, no stranger to courting praise aplenty for her soaring vocal performances over the years, hit a few sour notes with critics during her visit to ‘Sherri‘ on Tuesday (December 16).

Ahead of delivering an eye-popping interview while discussing ‘The Braxtons‘ reality show and rumors she was romantically involved with Birdman – her legendary sister Toni Braxton‘s famous husband – she walked out performing her rendition of the yuletide classic ‘Joy to the World‘ (found aboard the ‘Unexpected Christmas‘ soundtrack).

Keri Hilson took being on the road to a comeback literally recently when she hopped in the passenger seat of Brian Freeman‘s wildly popular Web series ‘Cadillac Chronicles.’

Reminiscent of the now-defunct ‘Carpool Karaoke‘ segment once hosted by EMMY-winning late-night host James Corden, Hilson joined Freeman on a cruise around their hometown of Atlanta while she cranked out live renditions of hits like ‘Knock You Down’ and ‘Turnin Me On.’
