It’s finally here!

After the last few months brought much teasing, Grammy-winning R&B diva Toni Braxton has unleashed her long-awaited new album ‘Sex & Cigarettes.’

Her first solo studio effort since 2010’s ‘Pulse,’ Braxton’s newest set – preceded by critically acclaimed singles ‘Long As I Live’ & ‘Deadwood’ – may only be 8 songs long but certainly packs quite the punch.  Boasting ‘Bubbly’ beauty Colbie Caillat as its only feature, ‘Sex’ does feature songwriting and production credits from the likes of Kwame Ogoo, Royce Doherty, Paul Boutin, and, of course, Braxton herself.

The next season of ‘Braxton Family Values’ is set to spell trouble for Vince Herbert.

For, while his wife Tamar Braxton insists that he isn’t a violent husband, her family, friends and colleagues are telling a very different story...on camera.

The show’s latest season kicks off tonight and will give viewers birds-eye view access into the family’s life as they deal with Tamar’s decision to part ways with Vince and the support they have received from the general public after stepping forward to detail the alleged abuse.

Alas, they have now revealed that his has rubbed Tamar the wrong way.

Has this affected their decision to bare all on Vince’s allegedly wicked ways? No.

Fifth Harmony made headlines the world over this week when they announced an indefinite hiatus.

With the initial shock subsiding, the ladies (who are adamant that they remain friends) aren’t wasting any time stepping into the solo spotlight.

Both Normani and Dinah Jane were in the house at Zendaya‘s BooHoo clothing line launch last night in Los Angeles.

The sightings came as Normani’s collaboration with Khalid – ‘Love Lies’ – continues to storm Pop radio and Dinah preps a song with Marc E. Bassey.

Beyonce and JAY-Z are cooking up something colossal in Jamaica.

Music’s king and queen were snapped in Trench Town early this week filming a visual with director Melina Matsoukas.

And while the shoot in shroud in secrecy, more pics and clips have emerged from the second day of production have emerged.

Could the couple be prepping a new music video? Or perhaps visuals for their upcoming ‘On The Run II’ stadium shows? Time will tell.

Exciting words lifted from a recent interview with R&B veteran Monica when quizzed on the status of her next album, the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Code Red.’

Name-dropping the likes of Missy Elliott, Polow Da Don, Dallas Austin, Pharrell Williams, and Timbaland as ‘wish-list contributors’ for what will come as her 9th studio effort, the Grammy-winner recently took to our friends at Essence to indicate she is also looking for up-and-coming creators to lend their hand in crafting her new music as evidenced by her ‘Drop the Beat’ songwriter/producer contest (click here for more details).

As she readies the new-new, the songstress was also quizzed on her iconic duet with Brandy, ‘The Boy Is Mine,’ as it celebrates its 20th anniversary in the coming months.  Despite what many have perceived as an ongoing feud between them (click here to read more on that), Mo had nothing but glowing things to say about the ‘Full Moon’ beauty and even suggested the two could work together again if given the opportunity.

Taylor Swift‘s done it again.

Despite her latest album, ‘Reputation,’ not earning quite the response of its predecessors on the Hot 100 front (see:  only launching 2 top 10 singles to date), the project is still leaving the competition in the dust on the Billboard 200.

Released in November 2017, it went platinum its inaugural week by shifting a whopping 1.2 million units.  Going on to be the year’s biggest seller, the set – kicked off by the chart-topping ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ – passed the double platinum mark in sales this week.

Continuing an impressive sales streak, much like the titles before it, the new feat’s gifted Swift a unique accomplishment.  See what we mean:
