Nearly 13 years separate fans of Melanie Fiona from her last body of work, 2012’s ‘The MF Life,’ but thanks to new songs ‘I Choose You’ and ‘Say Yes’ the vocal powerhouse is finally saying yes to years of calls for new music.

“These songs come from a very personal place,” Fiona stated in a press release. “They are about love, choice and empowerment – allowing yourself to say yes, to the love and life that is waiting for you on the other side of fear.”

While the Akeel Henry-produced ‘Choose’ comes as an island-soaked jam about reaffirming one’s love and commitment to a longtime partner, the Dre & Vidal-produced ‘Yes’ – which sees its arrival accompanied by an official music video – sees Melanie vocally soar over Blues-inspired production.
