Buckle up for a ride like no other with ‘Supacell.’ 

Set to debut on Netflix this June, the show – which is the brainchild of Rapman (‘Blue Story’) – follows a regular group of people who are suddenly bestowed with superpowers.

Before they can grasp how to use their newly gifted powers, they discover that their abilities have made them targets for the powerful agency that created them.

The cast is anchored by the likes of Tosin Cole, Nadine Mills, Eric Kofi Abrefa, Calvin Demba, and Josh Tedeku.

‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer Celine Dion is set to ensure the show will go on as indicated in a recent social media post.

The Pop diva, who was diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS) in 2022, made headlines in February when she emerged at the 2024 GRAMMYs looking healthy and happy – a warm response preceded by the announcement of a tell-all documentary chronicling her life since the diagnosis.

Although she emphasized her desire to return to stage in the teaser of that film, she reiterated it recently in celebration of International Stiff-Person Syndrome Awareness Day.
