Katy Perry isn’t letting serious bumps on the road of promo hamper her sense of humor.

The Pop performer has been hard at work trying to drum up buzz for her “comeback” album ‘143’ (due September 20).

However, as reported, the results thus far have been…mixed.

Indeed, while corners of her fandom have lapped up lead offering ‘Woman’s World’ and follow-up ‘Lifetimes,’ neither track has set the charts ablaze with the latter missing the Billboard Hot 100 entirely.

There has also been an avalanche of critique leveled against Perry for her producer choices and claims that the ‘Woman’s World’ music video touted feminism while actually catering to the male gaze. She would quickly clarify that the clip was deliberately “slapstick” and “sarcastic.”

Now, she’s doubling down on that matter in her own quirky way.
