Already performing well out of the gate, the song now looks poised for bigger success with the arrival of its visual – given the streaming component.

Attorney Lisa Bloom is clapping back at “fat shamers” who immediately dismissed Quantasia Sharpton‘s claim Usher exposed her to herpes simply because of her size.

In an interview with Billboard recently, Bloom – the lawyer representing a number of people who allege the R&B singer exposed them to the incurable disease – directly responded to detractors who have not only dismissed his most famous accuser (Sharpton) for her appearance, but also because she was not actually infected.

Asserting the reason her law firm even chose to represent Sharpton and others is because they actually have proof to corroborate their claims, Bloom was very open about her intent for the Grammy winner and even dropped some bombshells along the way.

Responding to word Ush was planning a counter suit and more, click below to read highlights from the interview below (in case you missed it):

Just three weeks ago Lana Del Rey delighted fans when her fifth studio album, ‘Lust For Life,’ hit shelves and eventually the top of the Billboard 200 with sales equivalence of over 107,000.  Besting rap acts Tyler the Creator and Meek Mill for the honor, the set’s dominance over album charts also granted it the honor of nabbing the 3rd best first week sales of a female album released this year (behind Katy Perry‘s ‘Witness’ and Lorde‘s ‘Melodrama’).

Sadly, like Perry (who experienced the biggest second week drop in history), Del Rey’s reign was short-lived to say the least…

Brandy‘s career may have stalled and been stifled by poorly executed moves in recent years, but that’s done all of nothing to shake her status as one of Pop’s greatest success stories.

Although Mariah Carey‘s current predicament is anything but glorious, the singer remains one of the most remarkable artists of all-time. A status she achieved by way of big hits, as well as lesser known numbers too.

The diva’s doomed single ‘Crybaby’ is this week’s From The Vault pick.

After much debate with her label (which was, at the time, still run by her newly ex-husband), the track was released as a double-A-side single, alongside ‘Can’t Take That Away (Mariah’s Theme).’  Both songs were included on Carey’s seventh studio album ‘Rainbow.’

‘Crybaby’ featured King of G-Funk Snoop Dogg and was built around a sample of Guy’s ‘Piece Of My Love.’ It was penned and produced by the singer alongside Damizza.

The single is renown for being Mariah’s first ever to miss the Top 20 after it peaked at #28 on the Hot 100; thanks largely to issues with her label.

Its visual took a literal approach to the song’s lyrics and depicts Mimi unable to sleep at 5 AM. Snoop makes an appearance in a via a video monitor. Sanaa Hamri assumed directorial duties, a role she also took for for the visualization of sister-single ‘Can’t Take That Away.’

**********

Echoing earlier sentiments, we truly love us some Mariah Carey and we wish for nothing more than for her getting back to this level of brilliance. Even if chart glory – which we think she IS still capable of – isn’t in the cards for her next project, can we get a plate of slay as far as quality and cohesion goes. MC is too much of a force to only be relevant for being a revolving Instagram meme.

Cop a gander of Kelly Rowland!

The R&B scorcher stunned as she arrived at BeautyCon LA 2017.

Ms. Kelly’s appearance isn’t random. Because she’s presently juggling the recording of her new album with prep for her upcoming make-up line.

Christened F.A.C.E, the name means ‘For All Created Equal.’

No word on yet on its debut date, but word is that it’s soon.

Pending then, peep more pics of Kelly after the jump…
