During her time in the spotlight, Michelle Obama has established herself as a force for social change.

Now, she’s establishing herself as a tour de force. Literally.

Last month, the much-loved Obama matriarch released her memoir ‘Becoming’ and almost immediately sold through millions of copies.

Initially supported by a 10-city tour (with stops in the likes London, Los Angeles, and New York), the trek is now expanding into a worldwide jaunt – with a number of arenas on the itinerary.

Golden Globe nominee Mary J. Blige continues flex her acting gravitas. And this time it’s in Netflix‘s new series ‘The Umbrella Academy.’

Based on a comic book series of the same name, written by Gerard Way, the series follows estranged members of a misfit family of superheroes (‘The Umbrella Academy’).

Trying to put aside their differences, Luther, Diego, Allison, Vanya, Klaus and Number Five strive to solve their father’s mysterious death – but their own disfunction serves as one of their biggest hurdles.

Blige’s character of Cha Cha is said to be an “unorthodox hit-woman who travels through time to kill assigned targets.” Also described as ‘sadistic and sociopathic,’ Cha Cha has a love for torture and deems herself a ‘pain artist.’ The role comes on the heels of widely praised showing in Netflix film ‘Mudbound.’

It was a family affair this evening on NFL’s Monday Night Football. 

For while Russell Wilson helped steer the Seahawks to victory against the Vikings, it was wife Ciara who provided the entertainment during the Genesis Halftime Show.

Backed by a colossal army of dancers, the stage scorcher lived up to her billing with a high-octane offering of ‘Level Up.’

Cardi B  surprised many when she announced her separation from Offset via Instagram last week – just days after professing her love for the Migos star.

Indeed, so confused were some that speculation mounted that the news was some sort of ‘practical joke’ from the pair. But alas, not if her recent actions are to go by.

While performing ‘Motorsport’ at Z100’s Jingle Bell Ball in New York, Bardi made a rather apt lyric change. One which more than hints at the seriousness of the couple’s predicament.
