It’s been three months since Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed their second child – a son named Saint West.

And while the masses have seen a lot of the publicity thirsty pair in the months following, the newest addition to their brood (which also includes 3 year old daughter North) has been noticeable by his absence.

Until today.

Via PEOPLE magazine, the couple have released the first official snap of the youngster.

After taking mini-vacations from the #1 position on the Billboard 200 (thanks to Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Future,David Bowie, and more), it appears chart champion Adele is set to revisit the top spot.

Indeed, showing resiliency akin to its predecessor ’21’ (which spent a whopping 24 weeks at the top), ’25’s rebound to the chart’s summit came courtesy of her well-received performance of ‘All I Ask’ at the 2016 Grammys.

It appears not even a technical glitch and a few misfired notes would keep fans away from putting the album back to #1 for its 9th consecutive week.  Tuck in below to see just how many units were shifted:

Singer. Actress. Entertainer.

After more than two decades in the industry, this year saw Jennifer Lopez add to her potent portfolio by slipping on her stilettos to scorch in Las Vegas.

Today, we celebrate the diva’s ability to diversify her craft. This week’s From The Vault is a special one as it pays homage to not one but two singles: ‘I’m Real’ – the original Pop version and its ‘Murder Remix.’

Following the success of  the ‘J.LO’ album’s launching single ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing,’ second swing of the bat ‘Play’ didn’t fare as well commercially. It was time to shake things up. Cue ‘I’m Real.’

The 80’s-kissed incarnation of the song was serviced to radio first. Produced by frequent collaborator Cory Rooney, it lyrically leaned on the “independent woman” theme which was all the rage in the early 00’s.

*************

What really established ‘Real’ as a blockbuster hit, though, was its Urban remix, which saw Lopez link up with rapper Ja Rule for the first time (of many times). With its sonically summer sound, the track reached the top spot of the US Billboard Hot 100, where it shone brightly for five non-consecutive weeks.

It’s important to stress that although the two songs don’t sound anything alike, their airplay counted towards the very same chart position – a policy which has since been changed following arguments of unfairness.

Elsewhere, ‘Real’ peaked at #3 in both Australia and France but also at the 4th position of the UK Singles Charts.

For both versions of the song, Dave Meyers was brought in to bring to fruition two dynamically different visuals.

While the Pop take saw the singer assume the role of a homecoming star  in town for a show, the ‘Murder’ mix (which nabbed an MTV VMA) re-affirmed her Bronx rooting. It crucially introduced the masses to the “Jenny From The Block” aesthetic; one that would become a staple in her career and one she would later revisit with louder volume on 2014’s ‘AKA.’

*****************

Fifteen years after this release, La Lopez is still making major waves in the entertainment world. For she and her team have ensured she is omnipresent in the media scape. Indeed, this year alone, one need not look further than her Vegas residency, American Idol, and her new show ‘Shades Of Blue’ – which has just been renewed for a second season.

Though her “Jack Of All Trades” trait may be unappealing to some, it’s the exact reason we’ll always respect her.

As of now, we’re not totally sure where Jen will go next… but that’s precisely why we can’t wait to find out.

She’s gifted modern pop music with some of its biggest hits, but now it’s high time That Grape Juice gifts Rihanna…with an ode to her greatest music videos (just in time for her birthday).

Indeed, the ‘Birthday Cake’ singer – who hit the big ‘2-8’ today – has much to celebrate.  For, in addition to an impressive catalog of chart-toppers (including her most recent ‘Work’ housed on the #1 album ‘Anti’), the singer’s video anthology boasts no shortage of similar wins.  From the haunting ‘Disturbia’ to the breathtaking ‘Diamonds,’ the clips that have accompanied her biggest hits are arguably just as memorable (if not more) as the tunes themselves.

Now, as the site’s resident (objective and fair) #Navy comrade, who better than I to navigate readers down memory lane to and through a collection of her best clips?  Admittedly, with 11 years and 8 albums worth of material, Ri’s bevy of offerings made this no easy task.

But, with hopes of inducting her forthcoming ‘Work’ video to the list, we reflect on the best of her visuals that preceded it.  They lie below:

Ke$ha was dealt a devastating blow in court yesterday when her bid for release from her record contract with Dr. Luke and Sony Music was rejected by a New York judge.

The suit forms part of a bigger legal showdown, which sees the ‘Tik Tok’ singer alleging abuse at the hands of the hitmaker.

Jury’s out on what’ll become of the rest of Ke$ha’s case, but in the time since the judgement, support has flooded in from fans and her Pop peers alike.
