SZA, easily one of 2017’s bigger breakout stars, entered the 60th annual Grammy ceremony as the night’s most nominated woman.  Racking up a whopping 5 nods for work found on her debut studio album, ‘Ctrl,’ the singer nabbed mention in multiple R&B categories and even one of the big 4:  ‘Best New Artist.’

Much to the chagrin of her dedicated (and growing) legion of fans, the telecast hadn’t even reached its halfway mark before they realized she’d lost in every category she was nominated in.

After the conclusion of the 59th annual Grammy Awards Rihanna‘s faithful fan group, The Navy, is in absolute uproar.  Rightfully so, if you ask us, as the Bajan beauty’s critically acclaimed set, ‘Anti,’ entered the race with a whopping 8 nominations.  Not only that, the album and/or its content were believed to be clear frontrunners in at least half of those categories.

Sadly, by the night’s end, that’s all the opus remained:  nominated.  That’s right, despite birthing one of 2016’s biggest hits, ‘Work,’ breaking streaming records, and even yielding some of the singer’s most artistically mature offerings to date, the album was completely snubbed.

Leave it to Rih though to even fail in style.  See what we mean inside:

Despite being armed with the best GPS technology, the search party hunting for Rihanna‘s talent remain empty-handed.

And yet still, the model commands quite the fan-base.

Naturally, then, one would expect the star to be uber appreciative of her supporters. However, if her latest Instagram activity is anything to go by, gratuity isn’t her strongest point.

In the wake of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis‘ multiple Grammy wins on Sunday night, many an artist and critic have weighed in. The explicit focus for most was the fact that the duo, who won four awards, bested favourite Kendrick Lamar in a number of Rap categories. And the puzzling chain of events that saw the Compton MC walk home empty-handed – despite being nominated for seven awards.

Even Macklemore chimed in, posting a text he sent Lamar confessing that “I wanted you to win”.

Noticeably silent, though, was Lamar himself. That is until now.
