Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, just as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week, we throw our hands up for the independent women of Destiny’s Child and their history-making hit found aboard the Cameron Diaz-led ‘Charlie’s Angels’ official soundtrack.  Debuting at #1 in fall 2000, ‘Women’ lent the ladies of DC3 their third and longest running chart-topper on the Hot 100.  Amassing an impressive 11 week run, the song currently stands in history books as the longest running #1 single by a female group.

Strut down memory lane with us and tuck in below to see what other familiar faces you see in the top 20 this week 15 years ago:

When she isn’t serving as the backbone of many a Pop princess’ career through song the creative force that is Sia can be found pushing her own material.

The name of her latest body of work? ‘This is Acting’, set to find its way to retailers on January 16th.

Fortunately, or unfortunately for fans of Katy Perry, the lyricist now finds herself on a promotional run where she is often quizzed on her experiences with the artists who seek her when crafting new albums.

Why this unfortunate for fans of the ‘Teenage Dreamer’?

The seemingly impossible occurred for Bill Cosby today; his sexual assault episode climbed from bad to worse.

As reported, an arrest warrant was issued for the fallen star for a crime alleged to have taken place in 2004. Said act follows a slew of allegations from women (many famous) claiming The Cosby Show patriarch had attacked them.

Aiming to avoid a showdown with police, the actor surrendered to police and was arraigned this afternoon. Bail was set at $1,000,000 and he was forced to surrender his passport. No plea was entered.

Check out his mug shot below…

Jennifer Lopez is making a media splash ahead of her television takeover next month.

La Lopez serves her trademark slayage a-front of the latest issue of the TV Guide magazine, which is apt as she’ll be all over screens in a mere matter of weeks.

‘Shades of Blue,’ her new NBC cop drama premieres January 7th, while her return to American Idol (for its final season) kicks off latter in the month. Also launching is her Las Vegas ‘All I Have’ residency at Planet Hollywood.

Busy times for the talented triple threat!

The 38th annual ‘Kennedy Center Honors, hosted by Stephen Colbert, aired last night on CBS after being taped earlier this month at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Honoring a group musicians, singers, playwrights, actors, and more whose lifelong contributions have greatly impacted their respective fields, last night’s honorees – Carole King, George Lucas, Ciccely Tyson, etc.- were serenaded by some of the days best movers and shakers (see:  Janelle Monae, Sara Bareilles, and more).

But, as if their show-stopping performances weren’t enough, leave it to Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin to really show ’em how it’s done.  Even moving President Obama to tears with her soul-stirring rendition of the 1967 classic, ‘Natural Woman,’ tuck in below to recap this and some of the night’s best performances:
