drake meek mill arrest thatgrapejuice

…and we thought the #Beyhive were the ones not to mess with!

It looks like Meek Mill is still being penalized for his infractions against Drake as the Canadian emcee’s fans have taken to the legal system to continue their assault.

As if an unforgiving Twitter dragging during the height of the rappers’ beef wasn’t enough, Mill may be headed back to jail all courtesy of some phone calls to prosecutors placed by Drizzy’s loyal followers.

August Alsina is celebrating the release of new album ‘This Thing Called Life’ today, but is still in the midst of a media storm following his less than tactful words for label Def Jam.

According to the crooner, an error saw the entire LP serviced to VEVO two days ahead of its release. Taking to Twitter upon learning of the occurrence via fans, the New Orleans native typed verbatim “f*ck you Def Jam.”

During a promotional visit to The Breakfast Club today, Alsina insisted that he “definitely meant them words” and elaborated on his frustration.

If sticking with the label is in his longterm plans, we still don’t feel he’s going about the whole episode the right way.

But, whatever the case, check out the interview after the jump…

Lil Kim is no stranger to turning heads. So, it’s little surprise that she sent tongues a’wagging last night as she arrived at a WE tv event.

The iconic rapper was snapped posing it up at the launch of the network’s newest show ‘Growing Up Hip-Hop,’ which took place at Haus in New York City.

A consistent topic of debate, we imagine Notorious K.I.M will once again be at the centre of conversation after yesterday’s appearance.

Whatever the case, we’re here for the music. As such, we just hope the New Year sees her hold true to her promise of a new album – preferably something with more bite than the material she’s been serving up since her release from prison…almost ten years ago.

Anyway, more pics below…

Hoping to take her mind off ‘ANTI’ album woes, Rihanna shone bright like a diamond last night in Los Angeles.

The sometimes singer hosted the 2nd Annual Diamond Ball in partnership with her charity The Clara Lionel Foundation.

Named after her grandmother, the organization works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, and arts.

To honor the cause, a who’s who of Hollywood stepped out to support the 27-year-old. Her mother and niece Majesty were also in attendance. [Notably, no one from the Roc Nation roster was photographed].

Snaps from the event, which took place at The Barker Hanger, below…

December 14th will bring with it the return of a lighter and brighter ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York.’

Why lighter and brighter? The Reality TV show welcomes the rapper Remy Ma and her family to its courts and follows her as she turns her life around following her prison release last year and rebuilds the career she left behind during the trying episode.

Only right then, as a native New Yorker, that she made her way to the city’s leading station for Hip Hop Hot 97 to discuss her role on the series before it touches down on VH1.

What Ms. Ma has to say about her world as it is today?

A must-see conversation with Ebro and the gang below…

madonna paris surprise concert

Is Queen of Pop Madonna becoming the queen of hearts?  Ask a few of her Parisian fans and they’ll probably say “yes” after the diva staged a surprise concert at the Place de la République in Paris (the site of tributes for the victims of the November 13th terrorist attacks).

Appearing at the location Wednesday evening after a sellout show at the Bercy Arena as part of her hotly-selling ‘Rebel Heart’ tour, the songstress took to Twitter to alert fans of the show.  Within minutes, droves showed up to croon out hits ‘Like A Prayer,’ ‘Ghosttown,’ and more with her.

adele 2015 5 million tgj

That Adele reign simply will not let up!

On the Hot 100, the diva’s blockbuster comeback single, ‘Hello,’ greets its 6th consecutive week on the perch.  Fending off strong competition from the likes of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and more, managed to outdo all of the aforementioned tunes on streaming, radio, and download tallies.  Showing strong signs of doing the same again next week, ‘Hello’s performance is only matched by that of its parent album, ’25.’

With another 500,000 sold in its third week (with some reports indicating that number will be closer to 650k), the project is #1 again – besting projected new entries by Coldplay (200,000), G-Eazy (125,000), Rick Ross (60,000), and more.  These figures will be on next week’s refreshed chart.

To date, ’25’ has sold over 5 million copies.  And, at the rate it is moving units, industry analysts predict the album – released in November 2015 – will end the year with at least 7 million sold…

Monica will be declaring a state of ‘Code Red’ on the charts next week when her eighth studio album sashays into stores via RCA Records.

Continuing her practice of drip-feeding fans the LP’s material, the Grammy winning songbird hatched new song ‘Alone In Your Heart’ moments ago.

Produced by Pop Wansel and Oak, the track may just be our favorite from the project thus far.

Say what folk will about Lady Gaga, but there’s no denying that her rapid ascend remains a Pop story for the ages.

It’s little wonder then why her split from the man who powered it, Troy Carter, is still an equally compelling narrative.

After achieving gargantuan success, the pair dramatically (and suddenly) parted in 2013 just days after the release of Gaga’s fourth opus ‘ARTPOP.’

In the time since, Mother Monster (shephered by Carter’s second-in-command Bobby Campbell) has managed a slow-but-steady rebuilding of her career following the brick wall the LP smashed into, while Carter has gone on to manage Miguel, Meghan Trainor, and more.

During a recent interview with Bloomberg, the media mogul didn’t shy away from questions about Gaga and instead addressed his time working with her and their “heartbreaking” parting.

Peep the interesting interview below…
