Destiny’s Child co-founder LaTavia Roberson was on hand to support newcomers Havok Jones hours ago, when she arrived at ‘Havok Jones: The Inaugural Homage’ , to celebrate the group’s arrival onto R&B’s scene.

Endorsing the poorly styled four piece alongside Michael Keith of 112, Angie Stone, Meelah of 702 and LeLee of SWV, Roberson’s arrival at the event saw her honoured by the ladies, who performed a medley of R&B girl group classics, which included the Destiny’s Child classic ‘Say My Name‘, co-written by the ‘R&B Diva.’

Following the dismal debut sales of Mariah Carey‘s new album ‘Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’, many of the singer’s loyal fans clung to hope that the set would enjoy a slow yet steady ascend.

However, hope was sadly dashed today following the release of sales forecasts for next week’s Billboard 200.

16 years.

Her latest single may have struggled to snap, crackle and pop in the US, but that hasn’t stopped Brit-Pop megastar Rita Ora from being named one of ‘Spotify‘s most influential artists under the age of 25, standing tall as the only British female artist to make the list!

Factoring chart hits, volume and growth of streams and shares to compile the list, the streaming service unveiled the ‘Top 25 under 25′ before the release of Ora’s US debut, no doubt set to benefit from the positive press her appearance on the chart will arm her with.

So, just where did the former ‘Size’ sales clerk come on the tally?

Nicki Minaj and Serena Williams put their star power to productive use today, starring in ‘The Game Before the Game’, an ad shot in support of ‘Beats Electronics’ in celebration of this year’s ‘FIFA World Cup.’

Led by FC Barcelona star  Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, the ladies join Lil Wayne, Lebron James, Rio Ferdinand and Thierry Henry in the ad  which starts with Neymar on the phone with his father, who tells him how to prepare to represent his country on the field once the sporting event swings by!

It’s a ‘Think Like A Man Too’ takeover at ESSENCE Magazine this week.

As reported, the female stars of the comedy feature a-front of the July issue of the publication – which we’ve now learned they share with their male co-stars.

Kevin Hart, Romany Malco, Michael Ealy, and director Will Packer style and profile on their cover, which along with the ladies version hits newsstands tomorrow (June 6th).

Speaking on the movie, a sequel to 2012 original, Packer said:

“It was almost magical the way we picked up right where we left off. That’s on- and off screen. There was such chemistry between that cast. The fact is that this crew really is a family…”

‘Think Like A Man Too’ hits US theaters on June 20th.
