With anticipation building for her comeback EP (due later this year), singer-songwriter Melanie Fiona is meeting the moment by releasing even more of the new music expected to line the set’s tracklist.

After wowing fans with tunes ‘Say Yes‘ and ‘I Choose You‘ late last year, Fiona followed on Friday (February 7) with the heart-tugging new tune ‘Mona Lisa Smile.’

“Perfect picture in a broken frame and / No one ever sees the broken pieces of the painting,” Mel sings soulfully over Andre Harris production.

At the time of the song’s unveiling, the 2x GRAMMY winner said ‘Mona’ serves as an “homage to all the brave, broken, beautiful [women who are] works of art…anyone holding it together despite wanting to fall apart.”

Ultimately branding the inspiration behind emotional tune’s title as “the armor we all wear to protect our pain,” look inside to hear it in full.

Nearly 40 years after Cher sailed her Michael Bolton-penned smash ‘I Found Someone‘ into the Hot 100’s top 10, she may be poised to repeat the feat with a reimagined version of the power ballad.

Found on Tyga‘s February 7-released new album ‘NSFW,’ the rapper’s 2025 edition of the tune is simply called ‘Found Someone’ and sees the rapper handle the verses while the 78-year-old Pop icon carries the intro, hook, and outro.

“(I found someone) / Who gon’ love me good / Who gon’ f-ck me good / Tell me it’s all good / Give me the details so it’s understood / Ain’t gotta worry ’bout her, trust me, I’m all good,” he spits over a sample of the 1987 original.

As far as unlikely duos go, this may seem like one of the unlikeliest but it shouldn’t be the most surprising given that Tyga’s bestie – music exec Alexander “A.E.” Edwards – is Cher’s boyfriend!
