Eleven years after beating the authorities to the border, Beyonce & Jay Z (or Bonnie & Clyde) reunite for ‘Part II (On The Run)’, the sequel to the aforementioned release.

One of the many jams on Jay’s ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’, the genius of this cut has us hoping Bey‘s fifth studio album will see her take on a broader range of subjects, even stepping into new characters as you’ll find she does below.

After giving it about 30 or so spins, we’d say that this is the one number you have to listen to if you playing nothing else on ‘Carta’.

As it gears up to take on Ciara’s new album ‘Ciara’ next week, Jay Z‘s ‘Magna Carta’ adds fresh oil to its promo engine with the release of ‘BBC‘, the epic new song featuring a collection of Pop’s brightest stars.

Sans his strongest creation Rihanna, the cut sees Jay share the mic with Pop Queen Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and Hip Hop staples Nas, Pharrell (above) Swizz Beatz and the legend that is Timbaland.

For almost too long, now, Ashanti‘s fifth studio album ‘Braveheart’ has been “coming soon”.

Indeed, preceded by a slew of singles, the project’s release date has almost become a myth.

Still, her fans fervently await the LP which follows 2008’s criminally underrated effort ‘The Declaration’.

Ever keen to ask the questions you really want answers to, we caught up with the former INC singer at Debra Lee’s Pre-BET Awards Gala and quizzed her on what she’s up to and when (exactly) ‘Braveheart’ will live up to its billing and arrive in stores. Find out what she said above!

As he gears up for the September 17th release of his new album ‘Nothing Was The Same‘, Drake‘s found himself on the receiving end of a ‘gift’ this weekend…sent to him by ‘A Girl Like Me’ singer Rihanna.

Indeed, while her time would have been better spent cleaning up ‘dem vocals’, the performer shared an Instagram video of herself shaking her ‘donk’ to the performer’s ‘Problems‘- a song led by A$AP Rocky.

Pulled from the Rapper’s brand new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail‘, the release sees Jay scratch fame’s surface and expose its core, detailing his love/hate relationship with notoriety and the stories of those who fell prey to it.

Looks like primetime’s favorite ‘fixer’ Kerry Washington has found herself fixed up in what was intended to be a secret wedding.  But, if E! Online’s story is to believed, the ‘Scandal’ beauty’s secret is out and word has it she is now Mrs. Kerry Asomugha.

“Kerry Washington married San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha on June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho, E! News exclusively confirms.

The 31-year-old three-time Pro Bowl star played with the Oakland Raiders, who drafted him following his graduation from UC Berkeley in 2003, for eight seasons and the Philadelphia Eagles for two before signing with the 49ers in April. The bookish athlete is no stranger to showbiz, either, having scored acting gigs on The Game, Friday Night Lights and Leverage in recent years.”

No confirmation from the Washington-Asomugha camp yet, but if this is true, we certainly extend our warmest congratulations to the happy couple!
