For fans of Urban Pop trio Destiny’s Child, their split in 2005 is still somewhat of a bittersweet affair.

For while elevating the already burgeoning careers of all three members- it marked the end of what many would agree is a treasured era music.

However, in what can only come as excellent news for these fans, their former manager Mathew Knowles has announced their long awaited chart return- set to kick off this November.

True Blood is back!

Yes, after a year long hiatus the hit show is back for its fifth season, picking up from the eventful Season 4 finale.

It’s been a long time coming, yet finally Brandy is gearing up to shoot the video for her comeback single ‘Put It Down’.

Creatively helmed by Frank Gatson (Beyonce, EnVogue, Destiny’s Child), shooting commences next week. And in a bid to, perhaps, whip up heightened interest among fans, the singer has shared a shot of her rehearsing for the clip in the dance studio.

Renown more for her voice than “spectacle”, it appears Ms. Norwood has stepped it all the way up with the latter. Indeed, her show-stopping showing at last Sunday’s BET Awards, proves she can weave flick, Naomi Campbell Walk, and emote with the best of ’em – while, of course, singing live. A fact which makes this long-overdue video still worth the wait.

Following the release of his #1 album ‘Looking For Myself’, Usher took to Malibu to enjoy some downtime with son Nayvid Ely and what appears to be a close friend.

Seemingly unaware of onlooking shutterbugs, the devoted dad was snapped having a blast with the kids at a park- pushing them on swings and aiding them as they took the venue’s monkey bars.

This, five nights after performing his smash hit ‘Climax‘ at the 2012 BET Awards.
