R&B beauty Brandy is readying a full-on comeback to the public eye with a host of television appearances and new music.  While we’ve already learned of her schedule appearances on 90210 and reality talent show ‘Majors & Minors’, fans can first expect to see the diva on Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’ this Sunday, September 18th.

Speaking most recently with VLN TV, the ‘Full Moon’ singer dished about flirting with acting ‘full time’ as well as dropped dibs on her yet-untitled upcoming record.

R&B crooner R. Kelly may be an industry veteran, yet he’s showing no signs of slowing. While visiting Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI’s The Morning Riot today, the 44 year old revealed that the title of his forthcoming album is ‘Black Panties’. The LP, he claims, is a follow-up of sorts to his classic ’12 Play’.

And while we’re sure the public will be the deciders of that, Kelly’s choice words for Trey Songz were equally as notable.

‘The Way That I Love You’ songstress Ashanti has been away from radio and charts alike for sometime now, but that absence could soon be ending with the surfacing of her latest musical venture ‘Never Too Far Away’. The track, to be featured on the motion picture Dream House, sees Douglas leave her signature, decorative bass bumps and catchy hooks behind in favor of a stripped down piano arrangement to let her voice be the centerpiece.

With her 2008 release ‘The Declaration’ failing to make much of a statement on charts,  fans and critics have been itching for its follow-up (which TGJ learned the songbird is readying for release in the coming months) to see if the ‘Good Good’ singer really has the goods.

At the rate JLS release singles, it’s fair to say the group’s projects are almost becoming one in the same.

Still, numbers speak louder than words, and the colourful quartet have delivered a plenty on that tip. As such, keeping the momentum going, Aston and co are gearing up to drop the latest single from their third studio album (in as many years) ‘Jukebox’.

Last night saw US Weekly celebrate its 25 most stylish New Yorkers in the Big Apple, which saw the likes of many a celebrity face in attendance.

Snapped on the red carpet was R&B veteran Ashanti who enjoyed the company of Brit bred Rap singer Estelle as well as NERD character Pharell Williams, who was recently confirmed as one of the many producers to be working on the upcoming Solange Knowles‘  project.

In a bid to further push the sales of her latest album ‘4‘, ‘Single Ladies‘ singer Beyonce treated fans and associates at the Target Centre with a rousing performance of her latest single ‘1+1‘ just hours ago.

Dressed in red, the expecting mother thanked Target for their support of the LP ,which has now sold over 1 million copies worldwide in a matter of weeks, before delivering a unique rendition of the well received love song.

Making its premier on FOX in a matter of days now, the cast of X Factor USA were welcomed by fans and paparazzi alike at the show’s World Premiere Screening at ArcLight Cinemas on September 14, 2011 in Hollywood, California.

Expected to open with heavily impressive ratings, the premier of the series comes just days after it was confirmed that Pop act Rihanna would indeed be making an appearance on the show as  guest judge.

British bred femcee Estelle has been building buzz over various formats for her forthcoming LP ‘All of Me’.  Led by the Rick Ross-assisted ‘Break My Heart’, the multi-talented maestra was just spotted in UpTown magazine with ‘No Other Love’ co-star John Legend.  Most recently, however, the ‘American Boy’ beauty jetted over to Chicago to interview with famed publication JET magazine to dish on everything from the London riots to her latest.

Peep Pop belter JoJo looking hot tamale on the set of the video for her comeback effort ‘Disaster’.

The 20 year old, who is currently on tour with Joe Jonas and Jay Sean, took a brief break from the nation-wide trek to shoot the clip for the track – which made its debut on the Hot 100 at #89. It marks the first time the Boston-bred star has charted on the tally in four years. And if early iTunes response is anything to go by, the only way is up for the power-ballad.
