Tonight saw the British media out in full force for Keisha Buchanan‘s solo launch.

Held at the trendy Jacques Townhouse, That Grape Juice were in the house at the Central London event, which saw the former Sugababe present live premieres of a number of tracks from her debut solo album (which has been 18 months in the making).

As yet untitled, the Island (Universal Music) set is due for release before the year’s end. And if tonight’s showing is anything to go by, the UK industry is about to be all shaken up by Hurricane Buchanan. For, with her sublimely rich and powerful vocals, she offers something this side of the pond can’t boast much of (beyond Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis).

Pop sensations Chris Brown and Justin Bieber were spotted yesterday outside of a Los Angeles studio.  The heartthrobs were rumored to be recording the follow-up to their moderate pop hit ‘Next To You’.  The song, which was  featured as the fifth single from Brown’s critically and commercially acclaimed ‘F.A.M.E.’ album, peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With a bill that features such top acts as Lady Gaga, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and more, it should come as no surprise that the iHeartRadio Music Festival sold out quickly.  However, official reports have revealed the mega-concert, whose tickets went on sale to the general public on July 16th, sold out in less than 10 minutes.

Fans who were unable to get tickets should not fret, however.  For the two day event, scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas on September 23 and 24, will be live streamed via video and audio on all of Clear Channel’s radio station websites.
