The mother of one was filmed rehearsing for a charity gig last night, blowing all in attendance away with a powerful rendition of John Lennon‘s classic ‘Imagine’.

Many were left disappointed after Beyonce skipped out on last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. The 29 year old superstar was instead in New York for Tom Ford‘s NY Fashion Week show, where she rocked an ‘interesting’ new ‘do.

Pop diva Alexandra Burke has rocketed to the top of the UK charts with new single ‘Start Without You’. The RedOne produced cut serves as the X-Factor winner’s third #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

If this isn’t a testament to the 22 year old’s immense talent, I don’t know what is. For, with the song being one of the most notable ‘hate it or love it’ tracks we’ve heard in a while, the one universal thumbs-up has always been Burke’s show-stopping performances – which have that special quality of selling whatever she’s performing.
