London may be experiencing dizzying heat this week, but nowhere was hotter in the capital than the 2018 Wireless Festival.

The annual extravaganza, which once again returned to Finsbury Park for a three-day stint, played host to performances from the likes of J.Cole, Stormzy, Rick Ross, Giggs, Davido, and Migos.

Few, if any, however could rival the rapturous response that greeted surprise guest Drake.

Currently riding the wave of success with his blockbuster ‘Scorpion’ album, the Toronto titan had been rumored to make an appearance after Sunday headliner DJ Khaled dropped out due to “travel issues.”

Revellers were clearly elated with their replacement given the thunderous response which greeted his arrival on stage at the apex of Giggs’ performance.

Though brief, Drizzy’s set masterfully magnetised all in attendance, who in unison belted out smashes such such as ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Nice For What.’

With music’s reigning royal closing out the multi-day spectacle, it made for a fitting climax to Urban music’s most resonating festival.

Beyond an ongoing domination of streaming charts (including Youtube, Spotify, and more) thanks to its Hiro Murai-directed music video, the tune’s similarly handsome faring on digital tallies has helped it become his latest platinum single…less than a month after its debut.

Well on its way to reaching the 4x platinum status of Gambino’s most popular single to date, ‘Redbone,’ tuck inside for more details surrounding the awesome feat:

Even with 11 studio albums, dozens of mixtapes, EPs, and more, rapper Gucci Mane‘s Hot 100 history – outside of guest appearances on rap duo Rae Sremmurd‘s #1 hit ‘Black Beatles’ and Selena Gomez’s ‘Fetish’ – has not sung of much top 30 success.

In fact, as of September 2017, Big Guwop had never been able to boast ownership of a top 30 single as a leading artist.  However, that all changed thanks to his Migos-assisted single, ‘I Get the Bag,’ which – as of time reported – is on its way to helping him bag his first ever top 10!
