Though mute on the musical tip, ‘Songs In A Minor’ maestra Alicia Keys has been making major moves behind the scenes of stages and television.  Recently occupying the directorial seat for Lifetime’s ‘5’ as well as her latest production endeavor ‘Stick Fly’ (on Broadway), Miss Beatz’ recent absence from Billboard hasn’t exactly meant she’s been unbusy.  And, with news that she and hubby Swiss Beatz are putting the finishing touches on her 2009 ‘The Element of Freedom’ follow-up, fans will finally get to see Keys do what she does best – tickle the keys.

In the mean time, Keys and co thought to tickle something else while ringing in the new year.  Avid art fans, the musical family took to L.A.’s Mr. Brainwash (MBW) art exhibit which features interesting depictions of famed pop monarchs Michael Jackson, Madonna, and more.

Renown for his verbal spars, the rapper’s latest “beef” is with his record label, who appear unwilling to release his new material – after a string of commercial disappointments.

With season 2 of The Voice drawing ever-nearer, expect to see shots such this newly unveiled promo pretty much everywhere.

Host network NBC are pulling out all the stops (and clearly Photoshop) to ensure the run-away hit (which stars Christina Aguilera) is an even bigger one on its second outing; an initiative which is being backed by a media blitz leading up to the show’s return on February 5th.

Christina to some, Xtina to many, a certain Christina Aguilera has many a moniker. However for three year old Max Bratman, she’s simply “mom”.

The ‘Dirrty’ singer was spotted with the infant, and boyfriend Matt Rutler, as they left intimate restaurant The Barn in New Jersey yesterday (January 1st).

Aguilera, 30, will no doubt be looking to soak up any leisure time she can get, as the weeks and months ahead promise to be all sorts of busy. Indeed,  season 2 of ‘The Voice’ is around the corner, as is the premiere of her new single ‘Love Your Body’ (which is expected any day now). Exciting times!

R&B star Fantasia may have given birth to a baby boy just a few weeks ago, yet that hasn’t stopped the Grammy winner from returning to normality.

The mother to newborn Dallas took older daughter Zion to the Scream Tour in her hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina last Saturday – where she was snapped posing with a young fan.

Call us selfish, but we can only hope Ms. Barrino makes an equally swift return to the studio – as we’re thirsty for new music.

With Christina Aguilera‘s latest single ‘Love Your Body‘ expected to make its debut any time soon, the buzz surrounding the project and its supporting album have undeniably reached fever pitch within the last week.

Set to hit stores in coming months, the yet to be named album will arrive  two years after the release of  ‘Bionic‘, the entertainer’s fifth and most heavily debated LP to date.

So in celebration of the release, which many would agree came to an untimely ‘death’ after struggling to live up to the commercial success of its predecessors, That Grape Juice dedicates this very special edition of ‘Best You Never Heard‘ to Bionic, naming four of our favorite but oft overlooked cuts from the LP.

Dressed casually and seemingly unaware of the onlooking paparazzo, her sighting comes just days after it was revealed that her ‘Femme Fatale Tour‘ had raked in $69 million since kicking off in the summer of 2011.
