Her fans may be confused by her current album campaign, but it’s clear that it’ll take more than confusion to get in the way of Rihanna fans and their support for the Grammy winning singer.

For, even without a supporting music video or physical promotion in the market, the star’s ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ has found a spot in the UK’S Top 40.

Good news after the jump…

Welcome to the latest TGJ Roundtable!

Over the years, That Grape Juice has established a distinguished voice that – whether loved or loathed – sparks discussion, debate, and on occasion drama!

Though comprised of seasoned writers who share a similar outlook on Urban Pop culture, the idiosyncrasies of the TGJ team members often lend for quite heated debates “behind the scenes” about the hottest topics.

Now, we give you a front row seat to the show. In a format similar to ‘The View’ or ‘The Real’, TGJ editors – Sam, David, Rashad, and Joe – get real in a very candid way.

Today’s roundtable topic asks…

The episode occurs in the midst of a mucky roll-out for the star’s eighth studio album, which has been delayed in earnest and has yet to spurn a hit to the standard of past efforts.

While Kendrick Lamar‘s talent is unquestionable, the Compton bred rapper left many scratching their heads when the pre-order link for his sophomore album hit the net.

Sporting a 17-song tracklist, the LP – the follow-up to 2013’s ‘good kid, M.A.A.D City’ – was billed as ‘Untitled.’ A fact which had many wondering if the rap titan has christened the project as such.

Fast forward a week and the mystery has been solved.

Taking to Instagram today, the MC shared the project’s official cover and revealed its confirmed name.

Lady GaGa has been on quite the winning streak of late.

Well documented is the under-performance of her 2013 album ‘ARTPOP’ (which has yet to sell 800,000 in the US). However the onset of this year has already brought with it both a Grammy and a Gold certification for ‘Cheek To Cheek’ – her Jazz standards album with Tony Bennett.

What’s more, the superstar earned universal acclaim for her jaw-dropping ‘Sound Of Music’ medley at the Oscars late last month, which was swiftly followed by the blockbuster announcement that she’ll be starring in the hit series ‘American Horror Story’.

Naturally, then, the assumption was that the singer would quickly leverage the positive climate into the roll-out of her next project.

Perhaps so. Yet, it’s now been confirmed that the diva is unlikely to deliver said LP before the close of this year.

Each week since its January debut, the Lee Daniels music drama has climbed in the ratings.

And while many were doubtful the trajectory would continue, the Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson title has once again defied the odds.

She’s gifted modern pop music with some of its biggest hits, but now it’s time That Grape Juice gifts Rihanna – with an ode to her greatest performances just in time for her birthday.

Indeed, while some will argue the singer’s inconsistent live acts – featuring their fair share of stage presence shortages and poor vocal displays – make it a difficult task to collect a number of qualitative stage showings, there are a wealth of demonstrations that prove such is simply not the case.

Over the course of 10 years and 7 albums worth of material, Ri has a bevy of memorable moments on stage.  With her outstanding 2015 Grammy performance still fresh in our minds as evidence of her growing abilities, tuck in below to see our picks for the birthday girl’s best:

FOX’s wildly popular new show ‘Empire’ has breathed life anew into the career of television star Malik Yoba. Best known for leading the channel’s former flagship series ‘New York Undercover,’ fans of the hit 90’s show (and ‘Empire’ alike) were so sure that the veteran actor had been off TV’s radar since the show’s unceremonious end – a belief Yoba wholeheartedly shuns.

From memorable showings on Tyler Perry‘s ‘Why Did I Get Married’ movie franchise to at least 12 other showings across television, he’s been far from out of sight over the past two decades.  And, if our exclusive chat with the star is any indication, we should expect to see much more of him in the near future.

Tuck in below as Yoba dishes with TGJ editor Rashad on ‘Empire’s success, its critical backlashes (see: alleged “gay agenda,” poor representation of African Americans), and much more.

Never one to bite his tongue, it’s safe to say Malik Yoba made this a “must read”:
