Recreating her stripped-back showing of the track from an appearance on the Rosie O’Donnell Show, Ms. Jackson showed up and showed out with a compelling rendition.

Crafted by the songbird alongside Cirkut, Lostboy, Lauren Aquilina, and J Hart, the pulsating track brings both the BPM and a resonating message.

Lyrically, the track explores her personal experiences in the music industry as well as the layered and oft-complex reality of life in the spotlight.

Following on from the likes of top 10 hit ‘Angel of My Dreams’ and ‘Fantasy,’ Jade said of ‘It Girl’:

“It Girl is the c**nty little sister to ‘Angel of My Dreams’. There’s still so much that people don’t know about me, so I was eager to surprise people and prod the bear a bit. I have to write about my experiences in my own melodramatic way. I’m not going to sugarcoat it.”

Allison Holker, the widow of late celebrity dancer-television personality Stephen “tWitch” Boss, ignited a firestorm of controversy after taking to People on Tuesday (January 7) to reveal her husband suffered from an unknown addiction to several types of drugs.

Hot on the promo trail for her forthcoming memoir ‘This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light,‘ Holker quickly found the shocking revelation deemed “tacky” and “exploitative” by many who knew Boss – including former co-workers at the ‘Ellen Degeneres Show’ as well as close family and friends.

Despite defending her decision to come forward about his alleged drug abuse, Allison most recently found herself being slammed by tWitch’s mom for the “appalling” statements about her son.

Lil Baby may already be projected to be next week’s Billboard 200 champion with his latest album, ‘WHAM,’ but his latest bid to ensure a victory over stiff competition from the likes of Bad Bunny and others came courtesy of releasing an unexpected extended edition of the LP.

Expanding its original tracklist by four songs (’99’ featuring Future, ‘Idol’, ‘Running This Sh-t’, and ‘My Shawty’), the updated version hit digital shelves just days after the first iteration of the opus.

To amplify awareness of ‘WHAM’ even more, Baby took to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday (January 7) to gift the live treatment to the project’s fan favorite track ‘I Promise.’
