Whitney Houston‘s story is set to be told like never before in the hotly anticipated biopic ‘I Wann Dance With Somebody.’
Set to hit theaters in the US on December 23, the Naomi Ackie-led film is the first visual project to be helmed by the late legend’s estate and promises to be the most compelling, raw, and unvarnished account of a life and legacy like no other.
Music, of course, is at the centerpiece of Houston’s story. As such, the film has been paired with a stacked soundtrack.
Christened ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (The Movie: Whitney New, Classic and Reimagined)’, the compilation lives up to its billing – serving up familiar as well as refreshed takes on Nippy’s catalog. Several live versions also feature on the set – which is executive produced by Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins.
