Nearly two months after introducing fans to the Sheanseea and Gwen Stefani-assisted ‘Light My Fire,’ Dancehall royal Sean Paul is bringing the heat via the tune’s official music video.

The latest lift from his aptly titled May-released eighth studio album ‘Scorcha’ (which peaked in the top 10 hit on Billboard’s Reggae charts), ‘Fire’ is accompanied by a sizzling visual that sees its stars turn up at a retro-inspired house party.

“‘Light My Fire’ is a big bad lover’s rock song and we had to represent it with a big bad video. We went retro on the attire in the video and basically getting ready to party and some lovers rocking. It’s a vibe we hope everyone gets when they listen to the track,” Paul said reflecting on the creation of the clip.

To give the tune an extra push, Sean – who has already rocked global stages with the ‘Scorcha’ tour – was joined by Stefani on ‘Kimmel’ recently to show those who couldn’t catch him live what they missed.  Look inside to see their hot performance of ‘Fire.’

Few Pop divas can say they’ve spent as much of their careers fielding comparison to a peer as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have.

Mostly fueled by purported similarities in their images, early sound, proximity in their respective rises to fame, and on-and-off again rivalry, the chart titans – now both in their 40s – have endured over 20 years of being pitted against each other, a positioning that seems to show no signs of slowing.

Case in point? Spears taking to Instagram recently to show off her vocal chops.

The glowing newlywed, who has dodged mixed reviews in the past for her vocal showings on the platform, garnered favorable commentary this time when she belted a stunning rendition of her breakthrough 1998 hit ‘Baby One More Time.’

Highlighted with growls and soaring melisma, the contralto showcase – which for many was reminiscent of Xtina’s signature style – was the latest of Britney embracing her true singing voice (the opposite of the thinner and more nasally-driven vocal showings that line her biggest hits).

Although he garnered much positive press thanks to his victory lap at a recent VERZUZ showdown against Omarion, some critics believe Mario‘s attempt to capitalize on the hoopla backfired when he announced Tory Lanez as the feature on his new single ‘Main One.’

Reportedly drawn from his forthcoming sixth studio album (the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Dancing Shadows’), the new Mike Crook-produced bop sees its performers trade verses about giving extra special treatment to the main lady in their lives.

“Girl, you can be honest with me/ You don’t gotta be toxic with me,” Mario croons. “You don’t need no other options but me/ ‘Cause you might just be my main one.”

Announcement of the tune’s Friday (July 15) arrival drew quick criticism for the GRAMMY nominee for collaborating with Lanez amid allegations he shot and assaulted popular rapstress Megan Thee Stallion.

The naysayers obviously weren’t enough to stop Mario from moving forward with the unveiling of ‘Main,’ which is available inside for your streaming pleasure.  Hop in to hear it in full.

Latto has become pretty dependable when it comes to deploying braggadocious bops. However, the femcee uses her platform for a socially-driven purpose on her latest effort, ‘P*ssy.’

Released in response to the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade, the star raps:

“How you ain’t got a p*ssy but got opinions on p*ssy? That’s p*ssy. My ovaries ain’t for you to bully. Y’all the reason we make music teaching b*tches how to use it.”

As well as directing the newly unwrapped visual alongside Sara Lacombe, Latto is donating a portion of the proceeds from the release to Planned Parenthood.
