As producer of films ‘Crow: the Legend‘ and ‘Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey’ (to name a few), singer-actor John Legend knows a thing or two about creating family-friendly content.

To that end, the EMMY, GRAMMY, OSCAR, and TONY (EGOT) winner is broadening that portion of his vast portfolio by unveiling his first Children’s album – ‘My Favorite Dream.’

A 10-track affair, the set – kicked off on the wings of lead single ‘L-O-V-E‘ – comes as the follow-up to John’s critically acclaimed 2022 LP ‘Legend.’

“This song captures the spirit of what I always wanted this album to be. I wrote it as an anthem to celebrate our common humanity and bring a smile to people’s faces,” he said about the new tune that features his wife Chrissy Teigen and their children Luna and Miles. “I hope this song is uplifting and inspiring for everyone.”

With heaping critical acclaim greeting her latest album, the August 9-released ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea,’ rapper Latto is looking to give on-the-fence music lovers another reason to check out the star-studded set by rendering a live performance for the fan favorite ‘Brokey.’

Taking to ‘From the Block,’ the GRAMMY nominee spit the tune’s fiery lyrics from the parking lot of Atlanta’s famous Copper Cove – the same location her rumored boyfriend 21 Savage performed during iHeartRadio’s first-ever ‘Living Black!‘ event back in 2021.

“When a real one hold you down, bae, you supposed to drown / You ain’t never f-ck with no boss b-tch, I turned you out /  You won’t catch me in no Shark boots, y’all burnt ’em out / B-tches gotta wait till they birthday to go out of town,” she rapped over the COUPE-produced beat.

Noah Lyles‘ Olympics 2024 journey brought with it peaks and valleys – and now the sprinter is ready to turn up.

As reported, the 27-year-old triumphed when he won a Gold medal in the 100-meter sprint; a feat he pulled off by just .005 seconds.

However, he had to settle for Bronze in the 200-meter race. Following the latter, he revealed that he competed in the showdown while battling COVID-19.

Now, with that seemingly in rearview, Lyles was spotted out and about celebrating. A move that had some raising eyebrows.

Tyrese is no stranger to headlines and his performance of the US National Anthem tonight (August 11) at the Los Angeles Rams v Dallas Rams game will ensure he’s the center of many more.

The singer-actor was tapped to kick off the football game with ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ and he made certain that his rendition was…unique.

Rocking a new look, the star delivered a take on the song much slower in tempo and one that saw him briefly pause to encourage audience participation. It’s a must-see.

Social media quickly dissected the showing. Some applauded, while others voiced their distraction at Tyrese’s new look. Most, however, appeared perplexed by the arrangement.

Kehlani has been a firm fixture in headlines this week and her spell in the spotlight for drama doesn’t look like it’ll be dimming any time soon.

The ‘After Hours’ singer’s ex Javaughn Young-White filed for primary custody of their five-year-old Adeya Nomi – claiming that Kehlani’s alleged affiliation with a cult leader was a risk to the youngster. A claim the star denied in earnest.

Then, in a dramatic twist, Young-White retracted the filing and remarks, stressing that he “regrets” both.

Now, with that matter seemingly in rearview, Kehlani issued a statement – this time after a fallout with a former friend named “Kayla’ spilled online.
