Mary J. Blige fans who can’t wait for the September 17 kick off of the diva’s forthcoming ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ tour are in for a treat thanks to Apple Music.

The digital music giants took to press this week to announce a ‘one night only’ concert will air live from New York City’s United Palace.  The live taping, set for July 13, will be available to stream exclusively on Apple Music on July 27 and will see Blige crank out many of her timeless classics as well as some of the newer tunes from her latest studio album, ‘Good Morning Gorgeous.’

“From continuing to act, to recording and releasing my 15th studio album, growing and expanding different businesses like Sun Goddess and Sister Love Jewelry, to performing at the Super Bowl, launching my Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit and now getting ready to go back on tour, it feels amazing to take this opportunity to celebrate, reflect and have an intimate night with my fans through this platform Apple Music is providing me,” Blige said about the event.

As if that’s not enough to get the Hip Hop Soul Queen’s fans into a royal tizzy, she also granted yet another song from ‘Gorgeous’ the video treatment.  Look inside to see the Fabolous-assisted ‘Come See About Me.’

After watching her 2021 EP ‘Public Displays of Affection’ fly into Billboard R&B chart’s top 40 (#21 peak) on the strength of her breakthrough Hot 100 top 20 hit ‘Hrs & Hrs,’ singer-songwriter Muni Long is looking to extend play time on the set by introducing its conceptual follow-up – ‘Public Displays of Affection Too.’

Announced just a day after Long wowed 2022 BET Awards viewers with a stunning live rendition of ‘Hrs’ (as we reported here), ‘Too’ serves as a 5-song EP that acts as the first body of work to spring from the star’s new joint venture deal with Def Jam.

Featuring current single ‘Baby Boo (ft. Saweetie)’ as well as predecessors ‘Pain’ and ‘Another,’ hop inside to show a little love to ‘Affection’ courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.

Adele reaffixed the focus on her magnetic music at her comeback show at BST Hyde Park in London.

The hometown hero wowed the 65,000 capacity crowd with songs known and new – including ‘Hello,’ ‘Rolling In The Deep,’ ‘Someone Like You,’ and ‘Easy On Me’ from her chart-topping latest album, ’30.’

In traditional Adele form, the two-show fused titan-sized anthems with the warm personality the world has come to know and love.

The headline shows are the first the 34-year-old has embarked on since postponing her Las Vegas residency amidst ample drama

A two-day extravaganza, Adele is being joined at BST Hyde Park by Gabrielle, Kacey Musgraves, Mahalia, Tiana Major9, Chrissi, Bonnie Kemplay, as well as Ruti & Tamzene.

‘The Best Man’ is back for a super-sized swansong.

NBC‘s streamer Peacock will be the home for the limited series ‘The Best Man: Final Chapters.’

As reported, the -episode show will reunite original cast members Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and Harold Perrineau.

Malcolm D. Lee, who helmed the first two films, is back on board to write and executive produce alongside Dayna Lynne North (who exec produced HBO’s ‘Insecure’).

Surprise Southern duo Usher and City Girls may have rolled their way to the song of the summer with their new rink-ready anthem ‘Good Love.’

First teased on June 23 by Girls group member Yung Miami, the news sent their faithful fans (affectionately called #Citizens) into a frenzy – a response that was doubled down on once Ush confirmed the report for his faithful fans.

Furthering anticipation for the cut with the reveal of a snippet of its DAPS-directed music video (filmed at Atlanta’s famous Cascade roller rink), the clip sees the 43-year-old R&B veteran show the Girls a thing or two on the rink floor with his fancy footwork.

Backed by a full band (and guests such as Eric Bellinger), the Diamond selling R&B veteran delivered a vocally astute set comprised of smash hits and newer numbers.
