From Brad Paisley to Jill Scott, Leslie Odom Jr., and more, Nationwide is no stranger to getting award-winning on their side over the years to help promote their insurance and financial service products.

The latest to put a twist on the company’s iconic jingle is GRAMMY & Academy Award-winning songstress H.E.R.

“I think it’s one of those jingles I’ve always known, and I never thought I’d be the one singing it,” said the celebrated singer-songwriter. “It’s just so fun to take something you already know and kind of make it your own and be a part of somewhat of a legacy.”

Adding her unique R&B stylings to Nationwide’s ‘On Your Side Soundtracks’ campaign, H.E.R. not only spun the insurance giant’s signature song but also unveiled a listen at an original tune that speaks to the spirit of those who have been on her side over her short but storied career.

It has been a big year for Cupcakke and she is continuing to make it even bigger.

Case in point, she has just unleashed yet another new tune. Entitled ‘H2Hoe,’ the song finds its release to coincide with the rapper’s birthday.

The song is all about finding sexual pleasure and features plenty of her clever double entendres. Across the tune, she raps:

Stick it in from the back like the tag was out / Throw the GPS, make him come the fastest route.

‘H2Hoe’ arrives shortly after she shared her remix to Nicki Minaj and Fivio Foreign‘s ‘We Go Up’ last month.
