Chris Brown spent most of April riding atop headlines for showcasing some surprisingly fiery Rap skills (e.g. beef with Quavo and featuring on Nicki Minaj‘s ‘FTCU‘ remix), but now the R&B bad boy has returned to his claim to fame: singing.

Acting as the guest on rising songstress Skylar Blatt‘s new single ‘Wake Up,’ the two trade verses over a feel-good, summery TM88 production.

“Wе should go and wake up / Even though I know it ain’t much, still I’m herе / I don’t wanna fake love / Even though I know it’s fake love, all I feel,” Blatt sings on the chorus.
