Jonathan Majors generated major buzz at the Sundance Film Festival last year with ‘Magazine Dreams.’ Indeed, such was the buzz around the film – which chronicled the layered life of a bodybuilder – that the actor was being touted for awards glory.

However, his arrest in the domestic assault case with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari saw the film yanked from the release schedule.

And now, following Majors’ conviction on two of the four misdemeanor counts he faced, there are major developments with the title.

Usher is marching on with purpose and appreciation to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show 2024.

And when he gets there, he’ll be waving the flag for R&B in a major way.

The icon covers a digital edition of Vogue Magazine and seized the moment to open up about the performance the world will be watching on February 11. 

Posing it up with model Carolyn Murphy, the 45-year-old offered up insights into what folk can expect from the 13-minute spectacle – which arrives just days after the release of his 9th studio album ‘Coming Home.’

Beyond a seismic celebration of R&B, Usher promises the showing will be a nod to his idols Michael Jackson and Prince – who headlined Halftime before him.

Award show season in full swing, and you can expect the year’s best and biggest in entertainment to be gearing up to grace the stages of annual staples to perform or accept some of the industry’s most coveted trophies.

The latest to unveil its highly anticipated list of nominees is the E! People’s Choice Awards.

Hosted by Simu Liu, the year’s list of leading musical nominees includes Bad Bunny, Drake, Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift.

They aren’t the only big names in the vying for the night’s prized statuettes, however.

Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for the release of her hotly anticipated visual album, ‘This Is Me…Now.’

Serving as a thematic sequel to the diva’s 2002 album ‘This Is Me…Then,’ the project will see J.Lo take the helm of her story of love and overcoming – sharing it, for the first time, on her own terms.

Aptly christenedThis Is Me…Now: A Love Story,’ the Dave Meyers-directed film will premiere on February 16 in tandem with the wide release of the ‘This Is Me…Now’ album.

The campaign is led by single ‘Can’t Get Enough’ – which landed alongside its cinematic music video on January 10.

In a freshly unwrapped full-length trailer, Lopez reveals that still be joined in the film by stars including hubby Ben Affleck, Fat Joe, Keke Palmer, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Sofia Vergara, Trevor Noah, Derek Hough, and Jenifer Lewis.

Almost 12 years after thrilling music lovers with his last album, ‘Comfortable Swagg,’ R&B veteran Jon B has lifted the lid on news about its long-awaited follow-up ‘Waiting On You.’

Due on digital shelves February 23, the 11-track project is said to feature big names like Alex Isley, Donell Jones, Rick Ross, and Tank.

Jon joined forces with the latter for the music video of the LP’s title track.

“‘Waiting on You’ describes the feeling of anticipating love in your life, the seasons of waiting,” the GRAMMY nominee relayed. “No matter the timing, even when it seems like it’s taking forever, you have to be patient for your partner in life. Not giving up makes it all worth the wait.”

With record-breaking Spotify numbers as well as chart-busting iTunes and Apple Music stats to accompany its first few days of availability, Ariana Grande‘s comeback single ‘yes, and?’ is already looking like a shoo-in for the top spot of next week’s Billboard Hot 100.

However, to ensure a victory the GRAMMY-winning Pop diva discounted the single to $.69 on some digital music platforms and dropped different mixes of the Max Martin-produced House cut including an extended version.

Clocking in at a 5 minutes and 9 seconds, the elongated edition of the tune stretches past its original by nearly 2 minutes.
