The drama between Xscape is playing out for all to see in the new series ‘Xscape & SWV: The Queens of R&B.’

Central to the chaos is a deep-seeded rift between sisters Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott. 

And tense as the feud is, it’s proving compelling viewing – alongside watching Xscape and SWV push through internal and competitive issues to put together a mega-show celebrating their iconic catalogs.

After planting ‘Flowers‘ at #1 on the Hot 100 for a whopping six weeks earlier this year (her personal best), Miley Cyrus unleashed its parent album – ‘Endless Summer Vacation‘ – for chart battle on Friday (March 10).

Seemingly poised to follow in the footsteps of ‘Flowers,’ ‘Vacation’ hadn’t even been available for 30 minutes in the United States before it shot to the top of iTunes’ real-time sales charts.

Setting in motion a domino effect of domination across the globe, before the clock struck 11:59 P.M. Friday night Cyrus saw her name printed atop the iTunes sales charts of over three dozen countries while her Apple Music reign extended even farther.

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner steals the show in ‘Mother‘ – the newest music video from GRAMMY-winning superstar Meghan Trainor.

The doo-wop-inspired bop, which prominently samples The Chordette‘s 1954 classic ‘Mr. Sandman,’ comes as the latest from the deluxe edition of Trainor’s 2022-released album ‘Takin It Back’ to get the visual treatment.

Directed and choreographed by Charm La’Donna, ‘Mother’ follows Meg’s hugely successful comeback single ‘Made You Look’ (which is still sitting in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 nearly 5 months after its release).

The hotly anticipated Bravo show spotlights the iconic groups as they prepare for an epic joint show comprised of their biggest hits.

However, in the run-up to taking to the stage, the soulful ensembles are tasked with dealing with a myriad of issues within and between their groups – and beyond.

One of the central narratives playing out is the family feud between Xscape members/sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott – and it runs deep.

Idris Elba is back in ‘Luther: The Fallen Sun.’

After captivating audiences in the TV version of ‘Luther,’ the Hollywood titan embarks on a new chapter with the Netflix film adaption of the beloved franchise.

The fresh installment sees a hellacious serial killer terrorizing London while detective John Luther (Elba) sits behind bars. Rocked by his failure to stop the cyber psychopath who now taunts him, Luther takes matters into his own hands to ensure justice is served.

Teaming with Australian dance trio PNAU, the GRAMMY-nominated singer has dropped ‘The Hard Way’ – an EDM banger that masterfully weaves its high BPM with lyrics that speak of struggling to move on after the love has gone.

“I wish we could’ve came to some solution / Through all the conflict, find a resolution / But now we’re sitting in this empty room and / You’re pushin’ me aside,” Khalid sings ahead of the tune’s chorus. “When you said / Both of us just have to learn the hard way / I sit here for hours, begging you to stay / Since you’re leaving me, I’ll never be the same.”

Following months of dropping what appeared to be standalone singles, August Alsina sprung quite the surprise on his dedicated fans Wednesday (March 8) when he announced his unexpected fourth studio album, ‘Myself,’ would hit digital shelves Friday (March 10).

The follow-up to 2020’s ‘The Product III: StateofEmergency,’ ‘Myself’ comes as a 10-track affair that sees the 30-year-old sit front and center thanks to its modest list of features.
