New Song: Nicole Scherzinger – ‘Super Villain’

Published: Tuesday 14th Aug 2007 by Sam
Pussycat Doll front-woman Nicole Scherzinger is gearing up for the release of her first solo CD ‘Her Name Is Nicole’ – due October 16th. This new track, ‘Super Villain’ – produced by Mad Scientist, is slated to follow lead single ‘Whatever You Like’ as the next song to be released from the album. The more Pop-orientated track is ‘decent’ but that’s about it. Considering how much Nicole was pushed to the forefront of the Pussycat Dolls, her solo material, thus far, has been pretty disappointing. She’s gonna have to do better than this.

this is awful. Her vocals are nice though. She should stick to what she does best and that’s being s***.

    I absolutely LOVE this song
Reminds me of a fair ground for some reason – it’s just bouncy and happy and something I wouldn’t expect to come from her.

    IMPRESSED 🙂

I ono. she’s almost got it on this track, but the track as a whole isn’t that good. Her first album isn’t that good &it isn’t even out yet. She has a great voice she just needs to know how to put it into music.

Yeah… I’m not feeling this one. I was also disappointed in “Whatever U Like”. Ya’ll might go off on me for this but I am feeling the same way about Nicole that I did about Katherine McPhee. There was so much hype and in the end, they just didn’t deliver fully to their potential. I hope Nicole can turn it around and give us some amazing stuff.

I think this track is light, fun and hot! I like that her music thus far has been sort of quirky; it separates her from the pack. And it gives you the sense that her album title isn’t just that, but an accurate description of the album; music with Nicole’s name all over it. With her talent and beauty, everyone knows she could sell millions with safer material. It’s nice to see her, or anyone for that matter, taking some chances.

i think its great too. its a catchy pop tune with a little twist on it. th beat is something that isnt heard too much, its different than most of the stuff out there. nicoles solo material has been good so far … Steam, Whatever You Like, and now Super Vilain have all been good songs that have Nicole written all over them. this girl is huge

at first, i was kind of overwhelmed with the beat but after a few hears it REALLY grows on you. This track is really good and nicole’s voice sounds on point, very s***.

She stole this song from Brick and Lace!
And they sound way better on it then she does.
