Ashanti Enlists Nelly & Akon For Next Single
It has been confirmed that Ashanti is set to release ‘Body On Me’ as the next single from her forthcoming LP ‘The Declaration’ (due June 3rd). The track is a collaboration with rumored boyfriend Nelly and Akon. {Source}I’m assuming the song is a reworked version of a new Nelly and Akon track, of the same name, which surfaced a few weeks back. Though Ashanti doesn’t seem to appear on that version, I’m pretty sure it’s her singing background vocals on the track (click here to listen). In any case, I’m pretty amped so see what ‘The Declaration’ will be serving up.

Definitely not a hasbeen. She just broke another record. =) And her singles number 2 in the R&B / Hip Hop charts.
Anyway, I can’t wait til I hear her final version.

Nooooo she’s definitely a hasbeen. That’s not hate, just someone’s opinion and mine as well. Maybe it depends on where you are though, bc where I’m from…..no one’s checking for Ashanti any longer.
