Taking a break from tour rehearsal, Janet Jackson made an appearance at the flagship store launch of Alexander McQueen Boutique in Los Angeles yesterday. Different is definitely the word for this ensemble, but I must say Ms. Jackson did pull it off rather well.

I love that!! The colors of that garment are sooo beautiful. I love Janet, but there’s something about it that doesn’t make it 100%, dunno what it is.

What’s missing from the dress is the original belt. You can see the original belt at Neiman Marcus. I also think Janet may be a little too short to completely pull this off BUT…I applaud her for the daring design and she should use McQueen’s clothes in her videos.
Now, if she’d just LET GO of those damn clip-on ponytails…
