Pop phenom Lady GaGa has just released the highly anticpated video for her latest single ‘Bad Romance’. The clip was directed by the acclaimed Francis Lawrence. ‘Bad Romance’ has so far peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stands as the first official single from her new album, ‘The Fame Monster’.
This is not a music video; this is art! Everything about the costume designs and the editing was on point. Add those elements to the well-placed choreography and you’ve got a hit in every sense of the word. I think this even rivals her clip for ‘Paparazzi’, which to date I considered to be the best video of the year. I didn’t even like the song but now that I have seen this, I can’t get it out of my head. Great work!
Tidbit: Did anyone else notice the bear rug dress she was wearing? FIERCE!

Everything about this video is what sets Gaga a mile ahead of many of her contemporaries. The artistic element behind this is ridiculous, the wardrobe, the design, the makeup, etc. – AND not to forget the infamous Alexander McQueen shoes. Amazing work. Video anthology material.

If this video is enough to bitch slap Single Ladies in the face, one can only imagine what it would do to Rihanna’s upcoming material. Anything lesser than this, in my opinion, is just whack. It baffles me that a lot of the artists nowadays don’t go the extra mile or even try to think out of the box to create a product that is worthy. I mentioned this on youtube, and I’ll mention it again. Beyonce’s Video Phone better be the great epicness or the delay and hype would just go to waste and everything would be disppointing. That aside…
This is the best video thus far. It needs to win Video of the Year awards next year or else I might just start having fits and twitch uncontrollably like GaGa. The concept, the fashion and even the song shape a piece of art that is beyond description. A little crazy on the product placement, but still, the video was perfection head to toe. It packs in emotion, meaning, choreography, plot, special effects and so much more into five minutes. I think it’s safe to say, Christmas came early this year and GaGa was more than generous to treat us to all that she’s capable of.
I’m really speechless and spell-bound. And I can’t stop looping the Alexander McQueen and polar bear scenes. That’s what you call vogue and class. I don’t think I can sleep now!

This video is just tooooo much. It is hands down the best video I’ve ever seen. Bible, it even made me a little scared. The best part of a music video is when a music video has “moments” and Bad Romance is filled with them from GaGa giving hentai in the bathtub, choerography where she’s wearing all white with the blonde locks flowing, to the climax of the video where the fire begins and she’s dancing in red. I just cant. Brain overload! January 20th, Radio City Music Hall, Monster Tour, I’m there!

I love the ending when she is on the bed with her man burned to a crisp. I don’t know if I can understand this video but to me its about a romance between two people are having the most off the wall sex.
This video is just crazy and I love all of the glam and the glitter. I like the shot where her eyes are huge. I know during love making your pupils become dialated and I also love the bear skin dress which represents the animalistic side of all of us.
Maybe I am reading too far into it. But at the end of the day..this is my shit.
