I think this is better than Rockstar101, but I don’t care for the concept. Rihanna is trying too hard to push the envelope in these videos and it’s not coming across well. ugh what a desperate attempt to cause controversy by disguising trashy, unconvincing lesbian erotica as an “artistic” video. major fail, give it up rihanna! youre not a bisexual woman who likes to flirt with the idea of homosexuality, nor are you a rockstar, or even hard for that matter, u suck! and as a matter of fact her album IS a failure, none of the singles have charted at number 1 in the uk, nor has the album been received well, despite heavy promotion and rotation on the radio. when she gives up these fake, poor attempts to experiment with all different genres and the fake fashion obsession, then maybe she will be taken more seriously, nobody believes this whole edgy rihanna, its not her, she is a bland, dull, uninspiring, talentless nobody who has just been lucky enough to have been handed some great songs over her time in the industry, absolutely nothing she represents comes directly from her, end of.”

It is another lazy video where she sells s** instead of the song. She’s always trying to distract listeners from her voice by stripping, strutting or posing in nice clothes. People are starting to wake up and see past all of that. She got praise again last year because of the Chris Brown incident, but now the pity party has come to an end. It’s a lovely song but she ruined it by trying too hard with the gothic, lesbian scenario. Why would a lesbian scene be shocking in this day and age? It’s not. I know she’s not a little girl anymore, but the song suits an island/Latina flavour with colour and light and Rihanna being chased instead of doing the chasing. Why does she have to do the gothic thing in EVERY video? Videos aren’t supposed to all look the same.

The cinematography is good, but the song is BORING and AWFUL. I love Russian Rulette and the Wait Is Ova songs and videos much more.
