Lady GaGa’s next studio album is complete. The entertainer revealed the news in the latest issue of Rolling Stones magazine and noted that the title of the LP, which hits stores early next year, will be revealed on New Year’s Eve. Check out what GaGa had to say below:
There are very few details out there about what Gaga’s next album will sound like, but she say it’s already finished. She’s planning to announce the title of the album — due early next year — at midnight on New Year’s Eve. “I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo,” she said. “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.” {Source}
It looks like GaGa is going to continue her trend of making everything a dramatic affair. It’s certainly an ingenious move to capitalise on every opportunity to build hype for the next LP. Knowing GaGa, she’ll probably announce the album title amidst a fireworks display, launched by cannon fire and 50 virgins singing in a chorus line at the strike of midnight. Gotta love it.

Not going to get involved in the Xtina V Beyonce debate as I love them both, but I really don’t get the comments re Bionic being unbalanced – do people still listen to albums right through from first to last track any more? I don’t for sure – will.i.am said as much when he talked about making The E.N.D. That’s also the reason why album sales are falling worldwide, but single sales aren’t and also why tracks end up in the singles charts without even being released as singles. Agreed with Team Wheezy – Alejandro is definitely no flop – it even went platinum in some countries before it was even released. 7 top 10 singles from one album (or 1.5 albums in some places) with 6 of those in the top 5 – pretty amazing from someone who was told she was too fat, had too little talent, wasn’t pretty enough – bet someone got fired from Def Jam once her first two singles went supersonic.

Gaga = 2 grammy’s because a) electro-dance music still isn’t that popular and b) she’s only been around 2 years.
