I live in Florida, South Florida. Cubans hate Black Americans, they really don’t have a valid reason to be that way. Just like the majority of South America and the Carribean, they strive to be white. Living here, I’ve tried to be as respectful as possible but they are extremely anti-black just like the majority of South America and some of the Carribean,specifically Puerto Rico. In their minds you’re not American if you’re black. You shouldn’t associate with them if you are an intellegent Black American. If you’re interested in learning Spanish, I would encourage you to do that, it’s good to know more than one language. But, as I stated before, do not trust them they disdain us. Cuban Americans are incredibly racist. Why do you think they left Cuba? They left Cuba because they didn’t like Castro’s pan-africanism and his pledge to address Cuba’s plantation racism. , Cuban girlfriend hard to imagine that situation

I disagree with ” THE DREAM” for 1, I am African American and married. I’m 25 yrs. old and in my 2nd year of Pharmacy school- – GO NOVA 🙂 !! I’m been married for 3 years and been together w/ my husband for 5. I have no kids,for I am waiting until I’m done with school. I appreciate our men-period. My husband is in Dental school and we build on each other for love and support.
As far as life down here in the “South” we as African Americans find that everywhere we go,honestly. But just shrug it off and move on. I’ve lived most of my in Tampa,Fl. I never have and never will let the color of skin or my ethnicity take away my potential. Not all Cuban-Americans are racist btw.
